Seriously. Look at pics. I posted some years ago. Place has some very high stoke value. It's scenery is not only epic and summer skiing surreal, but the terrain can be pretty rad too. I had to hike up my big boy pants to drop into a couple spots. Fun goddam place for real. Especially when shared with random skiers out there you'll meet along the way. I went on my own but ended up at the bar with a bunch of great peeps. If you come with a truck with a big bed and a cooler stocked with beer to do shuttle runs from the headwall parking lot to the MT/WY state line parking lot, you'll be a hero to all. ^_^

I think if someone really has to ask that question they most definitely should not go. Serious answer from someone who has been there twice but never skied it.

If you’re comfortable getting past the first few feet then you’re good to go.

My 10 yo wanted had a plan to go full send on the cornice until she found this. Maybe not dad. Lol.

Also I didn't ski it because it was August and September and all rocks, not because I was afraid.

This is from, I have no memory, maybe 1988? I left a couple days before and missed this jump, I'd usually spend a week or two at the camps every summer with my friends who ran a camp. I was told the massive broken-off part rolled down the hill the next day.

One of the bigger cornice jumps there ever, but I've seen some pretty big ones on video over the years.

I can't make it this year, wish I could.

They say it’s open all the way to Cooke City.

    Beartooth Pass conditions?

Just got back from an awesome opening weekend with some repeat offenders of the TGR boards.

Lots of crowds yesterday, maybe 100 or more skiers, about a dozen snowmobiles, several paragliders, bunch of road cyclists, and even one downhill skateboarder in a leather motorcycle suit. Will post more pics later. Click image for larger version.

ID:	330261No sign of travel restrictions in Red Lodge, Yellowstone tourists already out in full force. Skiing on the pass overall was great today albeit with some crowds at Rock Creek/Gardner as per usual.

Stoked to see you can grab tickets in advance. That wasn't clear on the website until today.

Rock on. I'm probably gonna crash with my buddy in Cody friday evening then roll in to BT on sat. May bring a 4 legged friend along for the ride and party. Lets touch base as things get closer.
