Amazing the amount of cases in NY vs. California.

Some real evidence there of where this came from. Europe vs Directly from China is my guess. Otherwise CA would be a disaster.

Early travel restrictions from China must be the explanation.

Yeah, we all know about those cases of a healthy younger person who covid knocked on their ass, BUT by and large the overwhelming amount of hospitalized patients had something else going on. Covid being the straw that broke the camel's back so to speak.
it's no question that people with other medical issues are getting hit extra hard when they get covid. The same thing happens to those people with any infection. People with obesity or heart disease or diabetes do worse from injuries from car accidents too. It's not rocket science that people like that are going to make up a larger percentage of the people needing to be hospitalised.

The way covid affects a person has been something new for the medical world to learn and sort out. But the fact that an infection is harder on someone with a chronic medical condition or is harder on a person the older they are is not something that has blindsided the experts.

So, since this was expected all along, what is the point people are trying to make by repeatedly bringing it up? Why not go the next step and tell us what you think society should do with this long understood information?

I looked at the data. Got different results. Your guess about me is wrong - again - I think you can hit double digits today.

and it wasn't hard work champ. at least on this end.

You do realize the picture is from Michigan, right? Its not the south.

Not necessarily. California began locking things up quite a bit earlier than New York did.

But California also acted more quickly than New York once it became clear that coronavirus was starting to spread in the US. The San Francisco Bay Area issued America’s first shelter-in-place order on March 16, and California Gov. Gavin Newsom issued a statewide stay-at-home order three days later.

New York, meanwhile, didn’t issue a statewide stay-at-home order until March 22. (New York City didn’t implement its own order beforehand; Gov. Andrew Cuomo said he didn’t believe it would work if only one city did it.)

No harm no foul. Like I said to me this isn't a discussion of abortion or any other subjective morality. We as a culture don't know why we value what we value and instead jump between false proclamations of support from science, religion, morals to justify what we feel instead of why we feel.

C19 is scary and statistically you're on the cusp of likely being more impacted. Shit sucks.

Stay safe, wash your hands and live to play another day.

    Sounds like we're at parity.

As for the standing desk. You forgot about the Petrified African mahogany floor, geothermal heat, 25 foot wall of windows, rhino horn pen, gold overplayed sitting desk and the gym in front of it. Of course all of that is false, but keep on trying!!!

Autos vs mass transportation. There are no subways and trains in L.A.

The point of this article, that he was replying to, is that the young and strong are even more (by a large margin) likely to be asymptotic carriers than even Fauci was suggesting a few weeks ago.

It’s the 50’s and up mostly hitting the hospitals, but doesn’t eliminate the fact of you out picking turnips gives it to the rest of your community unknowingly and uncaringly. But then again, I’m not sure if you’re in intellectual mode, desperation mode, or troll mode.

    How so

First case to statewide stay at home

    California 2/26 3/19
    Ny. 3/3. 3/22

In reality NY locked down more quickly than California from the discovery of the first case.

Of course this came out of Vaux news.

This is entirely possible. It's also entirely possible that China is culpable in allowing the virus to spread out of a testing facility AND the Trump administration is culpable for completely botching the response.

If that's the case, it's unfortunate that most American's won't be able to hold both those truths at the same time

Either way, fuck the CCP and fuck Trump.

As far as ignoring them or making fun of them, right wing hate crimes are the most common form of terrorism in this country. Timothy McVeigh and his accomplices have shown what a handful of these "clowns" can do. The gun waving militia types may be few in numbers relative to the population but they have the support of a whole lot of people and anyone not taking them seriously is a fool.
The fact that they aren't in jail or dead is due to the oppression and tyranny they're railing against not actually existing.

How is the saltwater thing in your experience? Considering making the switch....

Ha, I'm just talking shit to Benny.

I have had a saltwater spa which I really liked. IMHO Chlorine ruins the experience of the pool and you get the cool saltwater hair although not nearly as bad as when you're surfing.
