I am 69. I would never think of asking a friend to put me up under the circumstances you describe. I'm sure if he was truly in need you would help him.

Is anyone in Trump's vote-buying incentive check scheme (I'm sure that's how he sees it) even talking about doing auto deposits instead of checks?

It was a brave post. Would have been easy to lean on your social responsibility to model good behavior but you opted to put your real calculus out there. Thanks for doing that. It seems early for tough decisions, but apparently it's not. Sorry you were put in that position--to say nothing of the responses here. Don't let us morons add insult to injury; the interaction with your friend sounds gut-wrenching enough. Internet's gonna internet.

Glad I’m not the only one that sees it as a bribe.

why is there a claim that the ferguson paper is peer-reviewed? https://www.imperial.ac.uk/media/imp...16-03-2020.pdf

everywhere i look online seems to state the opposite. lots of authors, though.

I personally propose that all Trumpies reject the free money in order to show proof of their faith he can turn this situation/economy around.

Vail says "GTFO. You served our purpose. Go spread your plebeian disease somewhere else."

If above is true, they will have to let them stay a little while longer.
How much is it going to cost to keep the building open for a few more weeks?

Yeah, but, with almost 20% of Americans unbanked, that's a problem.

Ironically, the people who can receive this the easiest are SS recipients .

That is not at all what I wrote. But go ahead being you.

And to note, definitions matter. Hike: a long walk, especially in the country or wilderness.

So, no incline required. Or walking behind a know positive case.

My understanding is that only persons recieving paychecks (or not recieving anymore) will be getting the cash. And there may be wealth or income limits.
Or I could be mistaken. We will have to see the final authorization.
