Pretty sure most elementary school playgrounds had slides, swings and monkey bars back in the dark ages. And they were those nice, straight slides that seemed about 20' tall.

I was thinking that we played at home in our own yard running around, kicking balls, playing with green army guys in the sand box, plastic horses etc.

Shuuush Leave the kids wondering. But we really did have it set up in the yard too. I built my kids a nice swing set many moons ago. For the building challenged: https://www.homedepot.com/b/Playgrou...s/N-5yc1vZc5pk

Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

Oh we used to play with broken glass too - not kidding. We'd pick up broken bottles people threw out their car onto the road and smash them with rocks on the top of the corner fire hydrant until it resembled sugar. Kids! LOL!

    Green Army Men

As a kid my wealthy aunt offered to buy me anything at the toy store for my Christmas present. I picked the Green army Men.

Which one was your favorite? The grenade tosser, the prone sniper, the kneeling machine-gunner?
    I liked the Bazooka dude.

Bazooka is such a good word.

My favorite was paratroopers. They had a chute that would deploy when you threw them and they would float, It was pretty cool

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

I had one of those. Asked my mom to buy it for me when I was around six or seven. She had no idea what it was all about and I had to show her how it worked. Too bad the little fucker didn't come with a bazooka.

Always felt kinda bad for radio guy. Didn’t like the standing rifleman because he was easiest to knock over in battle of the Lincoln Logs
