I went out to learn to spey cast (^^^ not me)
Nice day, no fish even seen, but a real parade of drift boats hammering every hole
It took me most of the day, but I feel like I can reasonably deliver a fly now
Not sure yet whether to gear up for this pursuit...ain’t cheap. I stumbled at one point in the boulders and dropped a $2k rod/reel(!) I was using

I’m ok. Just quite sad as I deal with my mothers passing. She had a good long life, lived on her terms right to the end. She is passing being surrounded by her children and in no pain. I really can’t ask for anything more.....

That’s a good question. The insulation is getting pulled, and the ceiling is 5 inch planks latilla-style Since it’s a TPO roof, there may not be traditional sheathing. I’m staying out of the way. Originally Posted by RootSkier
