It's a valid point. Here in the 2020 season the early DH leader is a snowboarder and the all-time leader in slalom wins sits just back in 4th. Definitely not 1967!

And how bad do you think the American NBC announcers butcher all the European names?
It’s so brutal, it’s their job to know the names, and they actually know these racers, they talk to them, and hear their names being properly pronounced by other media, their coaches and staff and for some reason when they announce the race they still butcher their names for 25-30 races a season.
