best car experince ever was driving down to denver, looking at a truck, talk to the guy, test drive, waste about an hr of my time, he throws me a price, I say that's nice, I'll think about it, call him back six hours later tell him I'll take it, he drives the truck an hour and a half to my house, we sit at my kitchen table, paper work is ready, I sign sign sign hand him a check and he drives back to denver, truck is in my driveway, amazing

Of course. But there are a lot of variables. Getting an extra 1-2k on your trade-in is worth a few hours in dealer hell. So is getting a zero mile / un-prepped car (if it's a nice car, and the paint matters to you).
