Subaru's oil level light is notoriously unreliable.

Who gave this thread 5 stars?

No one is taking any reasonable advice on anything. That’s two stars at best.

THIS !!!! The oil message in modern cars is just a mileage counter, not any sort of oil level indicator. If your oil light acutally comes on your at about 15psi due to low level, most often many quarts low or your oil pump is not working or clogged.

Checking your oil is what old men in white tennis shoes do.

My Audi doesn't even have a dipstick and a 10k interval Our Mazda has a 7500 mile interval. My truck just drips oil at a nice constant rate. My motorcycle likes fresh oil every other race. The snowmobile eats expensive ass oil constantly. Now add suspension oil for the bicycles...

The trouble is keeping track of it all. I've got so many containers of oil at this point it is like a part time job.

Anyway, get an electric car...fuck all this oil.

It's Benny. Taking advice really isn't his thing. Asking for it is. It is what keeps us coming back for more.

Some people have families, Benny... dinners are fairly large affairs around my house. Costco quantities of delicious beef are no problem.

You should start switching over to healthier sources of protein.

7 pages in. How can it be nobody here has a viable suggestion yet? Are all you upper middle class twits so out of touch with the real needs of the average man that you can't help this man find a car?

I'm actually in the lower-middle upper class... so I have no help for our resident plebe.

This thread needs to get back to talking about something important...

I love Costco. The Kirkland cotes du Rhône is the new favorite cheap bottle of wine in my house. Buy it by the case.
Cheap led can lights but you shouldn’t have to buy those too often. I just got some solar powered landscape lighting that is actually bright too. Love Costco.

The strangest thing is the lack of selection, though. I thought, hmmm, what do I need besides a gallon of blueberries, since I love blueberries. I said, a toaster oven!, because my old one just, well, toasted. They only had one. I mean, c'mon. Amazon has like, 50.

Frees you from analysis paralysis, amirite? You either get the one they have... or you don't get one.
