I hate to make you feel bad (not really) but my Ontrac package showed up exactly on time. The guy handed it to me as I was dealing with a fresh berm--a day and a half since it stopped snowing. Now that annoys me.

Ontrac still hasn't delivered, still claiming bad weather preventing delivery.

FedEx delivered to my doorstep today, without problem. This is the second delivery FedEx has successfully managed during the last week of horrendous conditions that Ontrac cannot possibly get through.

Fuck Ontrac.

I have a contigo snap lock mug that I thought I paid like $20 for, and every time I open it, it sprays a mist of coffee everywhere. Wouldn't mind so much if it was tea which I enjoy in afternoons, but since it's coffee that annoys the fuck out of me. Bad enough to just leave it partly open, and then coffee is cold by the time to the hill.
Have actually considered switching to morning tea because of it but a pot of hot coffee on auto start is too comforting.

R you driving up in elevation each time? Happens to me too and very annoying. I just keep it open now unless staying at the same elevation.

I have had contigos in the past. All pretty crappy.

Have had this for a couple years now. Super nice lid that you can totally take apart to machine wash to keep from getting funky. Can drive an hour from home to the hill WITH the lid open and coffee is still crazy hot when I get to the parking lot.

Same thing can be achieved by just not snapping it closed, where it still makes contact. But cold in an hour or two. Gets cold pretty fast even when closed. Have taken to just bringing thermos and refilling where appropriate. Like when blasting down i70 snapping photos, changing lanes and radio stations.

Based on whiterooms advice I'll figure contigo is just a lame brand and try new something new. Although tea in the morning is a bright idea. Doesn't matter if it gets cold, doesn't stink clothes if spilled or stink breath. All these first world problems.

I got one of those Ember mugs for Christmas. Keeps my coffee warm for hours. I find I drink it a lot slower when the last half is as hot as the first half.

Seattle Parks snow scheduling. With Snowmageddon!! hitting the area over the last week there's been lots of closures in the Seattle area. On the days they have managed to open some of the city pools they've had them open from 11-3. That isn't exactly a useful schedule for those of us who work a standard work schedule. Would it kill them to have a pool or two open in the evening?
