And the corollary: maze mouth blockers - people who stand around, put on the skis plus parents who let their toddlers lie down and doodle in the snow.

Ontrac still hasn't delivered, still claiming bad weather preventing delivery.

FedEx delivered to my doorstep today, without problem. This is the second delivery FedEx has successfully managed during the last week of horrendous conditions that Ontrac cannot possibly get through.

    Fuck Ontrac.

    Fuck Ontrac.
Truckee PO sat on a package of mine for 4 days before delivering, even though it was sunny for 3. Somehow the garbage men manage to pickup no matter how bad the weather or the roads, but not the USPS.

    You know those people?

    Who hit the send button?

On texts with a portion of a thought?

    They don't like to

Put the thought in one text.

They also seem to be the type

    That gets really uptight

If you try to explain a concept like

    This

I would post a screen cap

But I can't even get one paragraph on my phone at the same time.

Sometimes I mistakenly hit the send button while typing a message. That's annoying too.

I would think you'd be grateful she's not on the road.
I was just giving an example of ineptitude. She probably drove off and ruined someone's commute. Actually, I'm going to stay out of this thread, not much really annoys me, so...

Bad enough to just leave it partly open, and then coffee is cold by the time to the hill.
Have actually considered switching to morning tea because of it but a pot of hot coffee on auto start is too comforting.
R you driving up in elevation each time? Happens to me too and very annoying. I just keep it open now unless staying at the same elevation.

Guess I'll just try a different design. I figure contigo has a few versions but I thought I bought one of the better ones offered at that store.

Can you just drill a tiny hole in the lid enough to balance pressure, but not let out an appreciable amount of heat/liquid?

I have had contigos in the past. All pretty crappy.

Have had this for a couple years now. Super nice lid that you can totally take apart to machine wash to keep from getting funky. Can drive an hour from home to the hill WITH the lid open and coffee is still crazy hot when I get to the parking lot.

Same thing can be achieved by just not snapping it closed, where it still makes contact. But cold in an hour or two. Gets cold pretty fast even when closed. Have taken to just bringing thermos and refilling where appropriate. Like when blasting down i70 snapping photos, changing lanes and radio stations.

Based on whiterooms advice I'll figure contigo is just a lame brand and try new something new. Although tea in the morning is a bright idea. Doesn't matter if it gets cold, doesn't stink clothes if spilled or stink breath. All these first world problems.

How do any of you drink your coffee slow enough to need it to stay warm for hours? I need like a mainline IV drip to get going in the morning

I got one of those Ember mugs for Christmas. Keeps my coffee warm for hours. I find I drink it a lot slower when the last half is as hot as the first half.

I think that was what I was getting at. I want to experience the whole range of temps and these fancy new insulated cups don't allow that.

Seattle Parks snow scheduling. With Snowmageddon!! hitting the area over the last week there's been lots of closures in the Seattle area. On the days they have managed to open some of the city pools they've had them open from 11-3. That isn't exactly a useful schedule for those of us who work a standard work schedule. Would it kill them to have a pool or two open in the evening?

    Sorry for the blog...

Form 1040. It is still 2 pages, but now you have to add another 3-4 Schedules, once you figure out which new one to choose.
