I knew it was ported, I thought it was a custom bbl and slide cut-outs. Did not know the C was compensated from the factory. Thats pretty fucking cool man. Although porting a compact 9 seems like an answer to a question nobody asked..

Glock noob I guess, did not know what the difference was with the X either till I looked into it

Have not shot it yet, but everything I read from people who have shot it reduces muzzle flip 30% with good ammo. I will be putting +p+ through it.

Lucked out with an Austrian build. Everything else is a limited US made now, this is a “purple” label meaning it was a contract overrun from somewhere else.

^^^^ Here is my mail-in ballot. Voted straight Democratic Party. I own guns, and I hunt, but gun culture in America is out of control. I am not afraid of common sense regulations like uniform background checks. After all, the 2nd Amendment does say "well regulated".

anyone have a S&W 1911 they can comment on? I'm torn between one of those and a Sig P220.

hopefully can demo at least one or the other this weekend at my local range but will take any and all opinions beforehand

I never fired a S&W 1911 I didn’t like. They just feel so damn perfect.

I’m pretty sure I got through all the 1911 forge dies while I was still flood welding at the Springfield S&W facility too. That means basically any 1911 frame forged in the past two years was made in a die that I did all the weld resto work on. I used to send JGB gun porn from inside sometimes- like whole bins of X frames etc. Wish we were allowed to take more pics, talk about a facility!

X2. Cept I vote in person. I don't own what you have in your pic. I haven't hunted in a while. And our Republican gov signed a hi-cap mag ban this year. So there's that. He got re-elected. Funny thing is VT hasn't hit the list on the gun retailer websites of states where they have to send firearms with lower capacity magazines. At least not the specialty things I have viewed recently.

    And what is that optic?

Aimpoint Pro Patrol is a lower price point but quite capable RDS. The micro is smaller and lighter and correspondingly more expensive.

Holosun and PA RDS are high quality and worth a look if you are in the market for one.

Aimpoint pro's are sick for the money.

I have some aimpoint police trade in's(pre aco) I bought back in 06 that I have used a ton. 30 years from now I think they will still be holding zero and burning bright after a few battery swaps.

I have a micro too but I like the pro better.
