Maybe cashman should get the checkbook out. Or Yankees fans can get used to the status quo.

No the status quo of having plenty of time to plan Halloween parties and foliage viewing year after year after year.... after foreseeable year.

The Yankees have Judge, who is still youngish, though old for a guy who hasn't hit arb yet, and some JAGs who are not yet out of their arb years. Stanton is probably past his peak, and the pitching is AARP-eligible. I'm not sure I'd hang my hat on youth carrying that team.

andujar, and torres are legit ROTY candidates. frazier looks awesome when not concussed. greg prius and sanchez are still hopefully coming into their own. sheffield is young and could give the rotation a shot in the arm. it’s not the astros 2015, but hardly geriatric with the incoming talent.

I'll bet Tanaka is 8 years younger than you think.

    OFFICIAL 2018 MLB THREAD

    Judge isn’t even that young.

But there are some really good young players on the yankees. Just not enough old and young good players to keep up with Boston and Houston. Can Bryce Harper pitch?

Every time he came out, they’d list his size: 6-5, 275

I’m 6-5, 210...I’d have to tape a small child to my back to make 275...that’s a heckuva size for a pitcher

Yeah, 27 wins, give the second tier hope to get near that. It's only fair.

He came up as a catcher...converted to pitcher in the minors. Came to camp this year badly out of shape, probably where some of that 275 comes from.

    second that.

normally I want a good series but I'm down with a red sox sweep of the dodgers, aka west coast Yankees imo.
