Frankly, I like to grow for my wife's consumption. (I rarely smoke). Side benefit of growing for her is she bakes for me and that works miracles for my insomnia. I would like to live where I could grow and make my own wine too. Sitting down and enjoying the fruits of your own labor is nice.
You can't grow grapes? Making wine is easy and as far as I know, like homebrewing, isn't illegal. A distillery, well that's illegal. Shit can blow up.

Tough to grow grapes on a 50X100 lot. I need millions to buy the place I like in Paso Robles. Come on lotto ticket.
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

For personal consumption? Cmon I grew up with more than a few Italian neighbors who were able to grow plenty of grapes for cases of wine. This is in the backyards of way less than an acre.

Not sure about CO but in OR its been hard to find hemp seeds that produce a legal profile of high CBD and minimal THC. IIRC there’s only a couple of strains that are compliant

Supply-Demand and all that invisible hand stuff

Oh yea, and CBD is the latest good-for-what-ails-ya med.

Because the oil used in tinctures, lotions and straight oils is diluted. They cut the shit!

Which is true. I have a hemp farmer friend who's harvesting in CO right now (cause it snowed on the crop two nights ago). When they get through the processing and start bottling in December, I'm getting some raw oil. His raw oil tests at 84% cannabinoids, which he says is so unheard of, the lab had to test twice thinking their machines' calibrations were off. He sells on Amazon almost exclusively as full spectrum hemp oil, thus avoiding the cbd label that can get a business whacked on Amazon and even Facebook these days.

I discovered that my kung foo goo herbs which open up capilaries and blood vessels works super fucking great in combination with cbd just recently so the gf and I are collaborating to make a pain cream using the chinese herbs and my friends raw cbd oil suspended in a coconut oil and beeswax medium. Like every other such endeavor one might undertake with hemp applications, we just have to dial in a formula.

How do you test? Friends? Only you 2? How do you attempt to avoid placebo effect? Just wondering. I'm a believer that even if it's only placebo effect and makes you feel better, well....

I must know your friend because my friend harvests the highest CBD terpine hemp in the state.

And, I've already spoken with you about the best application for that.

There are a shit-ton of cbd products out on the market, so much so that has made me question which are legit and which are junk.
So yeah, I welcome any legit product info. Guess I should read the cbd thread, but seems like a lot of WA products.

I'm as busted up as a rodeo cowboy. I test shit for people all the time, from healing sound machines to lasers that are supposed to regenerate cell growth to essential oil blends. I have a knack for recognizing effecrive treatments. My diary of stem cell treatment stands as a testament to that. It took about 110 days for the stem cells to kick in. I gave some of this new blend to a grower friend who has arthritis in his hands and he freaked out at how quickly it worked and how long it lasts. Will continue to test on other people. The fact that this was an accidental discovery on my part is awesome. Every time my knee or shoulder gives me grief now, I rub it on and, as Benny would say, viola.

My friends name is Tom. He's east of CO Springs. Once we get Tom's oil, we'll be testing it in many applications. This is just a home brew thang but if it goes over really well and peeps beg for it, I imagine we'll go more commercial. I prefer a thc/cbd mix but, for commercial, it'd have to be cbd only. Anybody can sell cbd, not so for thc.

MTM gave you one right above your post. Try that. As I outlined in my post, we won't have our pain cream until mid- December.
I might market to ski shops, seeing as how it knocks out my knee pain almost instantly.

Today's delivery. I like the 8% CBD in this hybrid. Takes the pain away better it seems. Really has the grapefruit taste which is cool too.

Amazing times we are living in friends. Amazing times. Click image for larger version.

Edibles spending in the U.S. topped $1 billion in 2017.

And if you include Canada - where adult use will be legal within days, this number is set to grow to a forecasted $4.1 billion by 2022.

The edibles market is up for grabs. We’re already seeing mainstream beverage companies scrambling to take advantage of part of this significant opportunity.

Coca-Cola is said to be in serious talks with Aurora Cannabis to develop CBD infused drinks. [Stock is ACBFF on OTC. Buy now!]

Molson Coors is developing cannabis-infused beverages with the Hydropothecary Corporation.

Diageo is rumored to be in talks with several Canadian cannabis companies.
And Constellation Brands recently paid $4 billion to up its stake in Canopy Growth.

Went to a dispensary in AZ today that had a full on diner style grill going on one side of the room and a dispensary on the other side of the room. They were cooking up everything you'd expect from a greasy spoon type place at increasing levels of THC concentration for each option. What a time to be alive!

Is weed legal in AZ or do you need a card?

I was under several impressions that you guys might need to disabuse me of:

    1. Hemp has near zero THC but has a lot of CBD.
    2. Turpenes and Cannabinoids can be chemically refined from root stock and combined in a chem lab to any mixture you want.

Regarding #2 I've had several hits from vapes said to be the result of chemical analyses and subsequent combinations of Indica/Sativa THC and other components to replicate famous strains, not direct extracts of those strains. Basically that the nerds have started to fake strains.

    3. Edibles: I don't get it. I muuuuuch prefer either vaping or taking tinctures sub-lingually. I don't see the need to ingest via my gut.

Keep an eye out for Cannatonic. Really high cbd content. Only weed that's ever just put my pain into suspension and like subtly manipulated me to go outside and do my stretches and get to the heart of cure - movement. Wonderful strain...

Hemp can have varying degrees of thc but there's a limit, around .03 percent, in most states for it to be legal. I knoww it was a big deal when Iowa or Kansas legislators passed a bill that legalized 3% thc and it hit the news. Because the strains differ, third party lab tests are required to document what's in an oil. That's pretty much universal now or getting there. But hemp can be very high in cbd. To grow it and be able to market it, people try to get an oil that will test out within the parameters of what's legal. But, if they want or have to, they can run it through machines that will separate the thc from the cbd and add some sweet smelling terpenes to it for the finish.

Get your wife some kush perfume. The extraction processes are insane and the nerds rule at it. I got samples of terpenes at the show in Vegas last year that were labeled (long names...) and weren't even extracted from weed. Yet, each one smelled like something I'd smoked at one time or another. The mad science continues. Just read that Aurora Cannabis (the #1 stock to buy in my mind) might beat out Tilray for the contract to infuse Coke with cbd. That sent Tilray up like 3000% or something a couple weeks ago. This shit is just gaining momentum as it steps out of the underground. My friends are buying a prison for their hemp farm. They said it was perfect; living quarters and big fenced fields. Made me think of walking dead when they lived in the prison.

    Boof it.
