It used to. And it still does.

Every time my wife and I go to visit her folks, we're reminded of that as we drive down the hill.

I go back 4 times a year to see family and its definatley better than it was in 95 when I got there, I lived in college heights which was bad but up on the hart seems better

I got used to the smell but I ended up on Asma meds after 7 or 8 years even tho i was out on the road most of the time, the blue inhaler didnt do anything but the orange steroids helped

I moved west and gave the meds up a year or so after leaving

I used to work in a pulp mill. You get used to the smell pretty quickly. The smell of money.

Still love the smell of nostalgia drivin' in to the bowl of P.G. Werked in the now closed and dismantled rupert pulp mill for a bit. Getting gassed by chlorine wasn't a highlight but like the old timers said, just drink a bunch of carbonated water and burp it out in between drags of a cigarette.

Never did use up all of my big stack of overtime meal tickets...wonder if the pulp mills in p.g. would punch a few credits in the cafeteria? Just add a few zeros to the valid time period of the tickets. Good way to bypass Quiznos and save a few bucks while loading up on grease, salt and heart attack gravy.

Could do a tour de pulp mill cafeterias with stops in the Pig, Queersmell, 'Loops and Skookumupchuck en route to skiing in the CuteKnees.

A former employee of a motel in Destruction Bay has been awarded $5,000 after the Yukon Human Rights Board of Adjudication found that his boss had violated his rights by repeatedly pulling his pants down. https://www.yukon-news.com/news/form...pantsing-case/

    Craigslist.

There's a local code. Your ad should read:

SWM TWINK RING SNATCHER ISO CHUB CHICKEN POWER TOP FOR COTTAGING AND ICE CREAM.

That's the info I needed. Thanks. I found them but was unsure of the legality/residency stuff.

I haven’t been so you might want to double check(I’m sure someone here will know) but I think it’s fairly lax in the city

Corpse flower set to unleash putrid scent at Vancouver conservatory

    https://www.ctvnews.ca/sci-tech/corp...tory-1.4008267

Vancouver - Stop and smell the flowers -- if you dare.
A rare, exotic tropical plant known as a corpse flower is set to unleash its putrid scent inside the Bloedel Conservatory in Queen Elizabeth Park in Vancouver.

The city's park board says the titan arum is the largest flower on earth, and when it blooms, it fills the air with a scent similar to rotting flesh, discarded diapers or hot garbage.
The flower usually requires seven to 10 years of growth before blooming, but the board says Vancouver's six-year-old specimen is showing signs it will bloom imminently.
The park board says when the flower is ready, it will unfurl its large flesh-coloured petal and start to emit rancid fumes to attract pollinator insects like carrion beetles and flesh flies that feed on dead animals.

Canadians spotted 3 UFOs per day in 2017

    https://www.ctvnews.ca/mobile/sci-te...rvey-1.4007801
While plenty of UFO sightings come from rural locations, a number of city-dwellers spotted UFOs in urban areas last year. In 2017, Montreal was the country’s UFO-sighting capital.

    Montreal - 74

    Toronto - 57

    Vancouver - 46

    Edmonton - 29

    Hamilton - 28

    Ottawa - 26

    Calgary - 24

    Winnipeg - 9

Nearly half of all UFO sightings in 2017 came from Quebec, which had a record year.
