Makes you wonder if the U.S. government will get involved in price guarantees or increased subsidies at some point, just to mitigate the national security risk and stabilize the industry. More likely it will stabilize itself at around $60 a barrel within a couple years, after production declines have really taken hold.
Only if the morons keep buying guzzlers just because gas is cheap ATM. There are many people smarter than me saying that gasoline in America really shouldn't be more than $2.00/gallon for the foreseeable future, including the summer mixes.

Showing $2.89 at most places with a few under that still. I was thinking it would be $3 a gallon by the time summer comes around (if summer ever gets here, still some snow around)...

Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

    I flunked math but isnt $1.42 x 3.8 = $5.40 a US gal or $6.40 an imperial gal ?

A liter is how the rest of the world measures volume donny

I used some missassauga realtor site that has a conversion page that includes a slot for the exchange to convert to USD. So you are right, to the point of CAD/gal

    $1.42 * 3.8 / 1.28 = $4.21

Convert liters to gallons, then Canadian dollars to US dollars.

It’s about $3.60/gal for 87 octane in CA right now. That’s regularly $0.80 to $1 more than AZ and NV. Thanks a pantsload Gov. Brown! Isn’t BC Canada taxing the crap out of gas for “global warming” too?

Vancouver total clear gas tax is at $.3328/litre, Victoria area is $.2778/, and the rest of the province is $.2228/l. The current carbon tax portion on that clear fuel (unmarked gas) tax is $.0778/l. Carbon tax on clear diesel is $.0895/litre. Carbon tax will increase each year until 2021

Rode my bike to work today. No idea what a gallon of gas costs. But Donny J Trump thinks it's too high, so he's not going to let it happen! Sweet!!!

^^^^^^^^yeah, this was kinda my point in resurrecting the thread. Curious to see what the Donald will do if he can't control things.
He has had an amazingly easy ride, economically speaking...
