    UHC + THC = a damn great country with inflated gas prices. Not perfect but close.

    Must have been a very short drive home (as wannabe stated was it even a mile). PA has the highest state gas tax still even though they did slightly lower it at the beginning of 2018... most of the increase it seems is going toward bridges and major projects and not repaving or local pothole repairs.

    Seems paying for the more expensive gas is not worth it unless you drive a high performance rocket.

    well, yeah. Buy the lowest-octone fuel the manufacturer recommends for the car, anything more is a complete waste. RTFM

    That must have been a road that was resurfaced toward the end of last year or else the trucks had been out to fill some of the holes....

    You are so full of it. You bark about people selling out yet you measure your worth on what you drive!

    Look dd there are 2 types in this world;
    Those that have class not matter what they drive and then there are people like you that will never have any class no matter what they drive.

    Btw 2001 + 2002 E55 AMG in Black is one of my favorite MB's of all time. In silver it looks like a regular E class. Not very inspiring don't you think ?

    That's what it's about. It's about making reasonable normal people uneasy or upset or confused.
    "look at me do this garish annoying thing and you can't do anything to stop me"
    I think some of them use it as a signal to other similar men: "hey, I know how to work on my truck...see, I made it do this garish annoying thing"

    Except that an AMC Gremlin is probably appreciating in value, but a 2001 AMG continues it decline to worthlessness.

    Did you realize that GB is tracking and publishing every trip you make? From the time you leave your house in the morning until you get back at the end of the day. There's a function called trips and it starts when you hit speeds above walking speed. I realized it and it took me almost an hour to delete all of my stored trips and then I deleted the app from my phone because even if you disable that feature it will reset every time the phone restarts. I'd rather not have everyone knowing where my house is.

    Not necessarily high performance 'rockets', many new vehicles are high compression and require it. Pretty much anything with direct injection should be using 91 or above but some, like Hyundai, don't specify it even though they really should.

    I've been paying anywhere from $2.93 <> $3.69 for premium for the last few weeks and $2.69 <> $3.09 for regular. There are many station that are considerably higher but I try not to be so desperate to get gas that I have to stop at them.

    What Direct Injection needs is non ethanol fuel, and that really raises the price.

    $2.99 is the cheapest I saw yeasterday
