Thread: Bitcoin....who's gotten into it?

“Manipulation” is a word used by people on the wrong side of a trade. Read back many pages where we discussed fib retracement. It worked.

I’d be interested in how we measure fundamentals in BTC? What are they other than supply and demand?

This is probably just a bull trap. BTC is going to zero next week for sure.

Odd the way BTC is going quietly sidewise along the low of the daily chart. My inclination is at least another spike lower but time is running out for sellers at this price.

Why? Because EOS is the next google? Because it’s obviously worthy of raising 1.5B in capital? Because they’ve enjoyed ANY commercial success? Because everything in the world is better? How is your post anything other than the embodiment of what John Oliver was mocking in that segment?
    focus.

I'm not sure that anyone knows what EOS will be. It's amazing because it is kind of up to the users, contributiors, and developers to determine what it becomes. Oliver basically called EOS a fraud and the release of their feature complete test software is a major milestone that contradicts Oliver's (or his moneyed handlers') statements. If the claims of what this release has are true, EOS will have major technological advantages over its competitors. We'll find out what happens in a few months.

Try giving this a read and maybe it will help you imagine why EOS could be such a big deal. https://medium.com/@matteozago/why-t...t-a5851d63c949

...Despite the steep 70% losses during the latest cryptocurrency sell off, this is not an unusual event for Bitcoin. Since January 2012, there have been thirteen major corrections or crashes in Bitcoin, including this latest rout. Losses have been as minimal as 30% and as severe as 87% during these Bitcoin panics. Compared to its past events, this latest correction was not even as severe or painful as it has been in the past...

    Keep rationalizing.

Losing 50% of $7.00 is different than losing 50% of $20,000.00.

If you don't see the difference, no one can help you. Keep on hodling on.

skaredshtles said BTC is going extinct and I told him to come back to this thread in 2023. My point was that he needs to pack up his snark and focus on a longer time frame. People love to say how BTC is dead, but it keeps resiliently roaring back to ATHs, including 11 times on the chart I posted.

You need to understand the importance of relative gains and losses. If you don't see the difference, no one can help you.

I've said repeatedly that I'm in this for a multi-year time frame. Can you be more specific?

Well, now, there's something that people like to see in their currency... LOTS of horrific volatility over a long timeframe.

Ah yes, the crypto investment strategy...whenever yet another study points out that cryptos don't actually have valuable real world applications and are essentially worthless, DON'T READ IT. Always get your info from other people who also have a vested interest in promoting cryptos and ignore everyone else. When in doubt, click your heels together and say, "There's no place like disruption" three times. That should get you results...

    But it's really not.
If you put in $5000 at $7 per bitcoin and it drops 50% it's the same loss as putting in $5000 at $20K and it dropping 50%.

    HODL!
