We are reminded that the marijuana was originally outlawed by the feds as a weapon against minorities. (Back then, marijuana was considered a "black drug.") The feds doubled down in the 1960s and 1970s when it became a hippie drug.

Marijuana legalization IS big government. Most Idahoans I've encountered deem themselves to be "anti-big government" yet I cannot imagine the ID electorate would ever support legalization. Fucking hypocrites

They will support it when the farmers around here realize what 40 acres of Pink Lemonade hybrid will net them.

As long as it's consistent with their anti-big gubment agenda then that's fine, but if it doesn't meet their moral approval it's bad.

It's too bad we're also one of the dumbest states and they will figure it out after 49 others have. Seems like it tracks right along with our education funding.

Madison County is the most mormon and republican county per capita in the country---or it was, as of the 2012 election, something like 98% republican. I had a truck break down there on a Sunday years ago and let's just say it's not somewhere you want to burn time waiting for a tow truck driver to bring you an idler pulley since everything in that county was shuttered.
