SkiBowl!!! What a F'ng weekend. Very surreal. Anyone else driving down Saturday see that guy walking up 26 carrying a pair of full tilts? Dude was yakking at cars driving down but I didn't have my window down. Now I'm curious, where where his skis?

Bailed on Bachelor Saturday at 8 AM after seeing nuking winds in both West Lodge and Sunrise lots.

Ended up at Hoodoo on Saturday at 10 AM, still got a decent parking spot and had a great day lapping the summit. I couldn't go back up yesterday or today due to prior commitments, but am leaving for Whistler this Friday for a week ... hopefully it keeps dumping!

I wonder if Willamette will even be able to re-open this year, even if it keeps nuking for the next 2 weeks ... not sure if it's too late to pull an operations crew together. Sad times up there, Odell and Shelter Cove Resorts seemed like they are hurting this year with lack of skiers at the Pass.

Hopefully Bach does a spring pass, and fingers cross this pattern keeps up and leaves enough coverage to get some great melt-freeze through May-June!

Great to ski with you as always AC and K2. Great to meet you FatKid and thanks for tour guiding, keeping my kid safe while we dug ourselves out of tree wells, and generally waiting around for this fatter kid from OR.

AC saved the day with the only photo reel from our oh-so-lucky cruise by a rope that had just dropped above JW. 4 guys rolled up right behind us as we were waiting for AC to start rolling and I was like "no no... We're gonna drop, just give me a sec." Glad those dudes waited. Good sports.

Meadows was the same way. Anyone with access to a weather forecast was tempted. For reference, this was the first business day I've ever taken off in 10 years. For sure the mountains are more crowded--especially Bend. Just saying the "specialness" of the day exacerbated.
