I witnessed that one first hand. It was very strange indeed. Head first into an open (creek?) hole, skiers right on the flats on lower Nettie's. On my last ride up star CPR was being administered by patrol.

to be honest it was amazing the boy got up after a long day of ski school yesterday. sometimes i forget he's only 6. but he was up and ready on time and had a great day. even as a non-skier, i can see the development on skis seemingly every day we go.

the other good note was i put in 14 laps, 19k vert, fairly hard yesterday by myself, and rode an easy 12k or something with the family yesterday and my knee feels mostly great. i have some soreness but i am managing it mostly with ice. an occasional blast with tylenol or motrin but i think 6am yoga 5 days a week is helping a lot of things.

I will be up there tomorrow on an alpine board, hoping for hero groomers. Gray pants / blue jacket, will bring change for a nickel. Sounds like some other hardboot snowboarders will be up there tomorrow too.

I’ll be rolling down to Bachelor Fri 3/30 Sat 3/31 & Sun 4/1 with the fam. Prolly do lunch in the lot each day.

We’d love to connect with Bendites, if only for a few runs or even just a parking lot beer.

my wife and I should be there that same time ... I think Shejumps has a clinic on 3/30 my wife wants to go to, so I’d be down to putt putt inbounds with someone.

We will be there! Kickin' around the idea of bringing a camper, either renting while down there or buying one. Only issue is I haven't decided what I want yet. Leaning toward Lance 2185, but I feel like that's gonna really force me to wait out certain weather/road conditions as opposed to nutting up and getting a 4x4 sprinter. But I digress... We'll see you down there either way!
