All HWs have one punch knockout power...but I'll take Ngannou by "one punch killing power." And I'll take Cormier by "facing anyone not named Jon Jones."

I will say though, aside from 'Reem, Predator hasn't exactly faced a murderer's row. Miocic has beaten everyone. If Stipe can avoid that one punch, he'll win...just seems like no one does.
It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

I got the chance to go to the UFC workout at the Reebok Gym tomorrow in Boston, and meet Stipe Miocic:

TOMORROW: Wednesday, January 17, at 5pm

PFFM members will be special guests at the UFC’s workout tomorrow as the lead up to Saturday’s UFC championship bout in Boston. There will be a special section for PFFM members, along with a separate meet and greet with Stipe Miocic, who is an Ohio firefighter/paramedic and UFC heavyweight champion.

Remember to wear your local union or PFFM apparel. At registration say that you are part of the Professional Firefighters of MA. To RSVP: **********@pffm.org

UFC® 220: Open Workouts Reebok Headquarters
    25 Drydock Ave.
    2nd Floor Reebok Gym
    Boston, Mass. 02210
*street parking along the building and area parking garages *
    5:00 – 7:00pm

    Participants:
Stipe Miocic – UFC heavyweight champion
Francis Ngannou – No. 1 UFC heavyweight

Calvin Kattar – No. 15 UFC featherweight
Rob Font – No. 14 UFC bantamweight
    Kyle Bochniak – UFC welterweight

aaaaah! what do I do?? On one hand, that would be cool as hell. On the other, driving into Boston, at 5pm, in a snowstorm:

Seems an awful lot like Overeem is one of those dudes who has taken too many punches and been KO'ed too many times. Post Lesnar fight he appeared to lose his renowned beast mode capabilities and instantly had a suspect chin as well.

Overeem has been knocked out 13 times, that's a fucking lot....McGregor is going to stripped of his 155lb title & Khabib & Ferguson will be fighting for the undisputed lightweight belt in Brooklyn in April, woot!

Shoulda put this on 222. Along with Holloway/Edgar, that would have been a FANTASTIC card.

I totally agree. You’ve only got so many punches on your ticket. Look at the end of Chuck Liddell’s career.

There's an early Liddell fight against Jose Landi-Jons in Brazil where Chuck is on the receiving end of a clean head kick. (It's on Fight Pass if anyone wants to check it out) This kick is perfect. Landi-Jons practically knocks his head off. Chuck falls to the ground, shakes his head and he gets right back up like nothing happened. Sure wasn't doing that at the end of his career.

Lol, Stipe won his last fight by KO at 2:22 of the first round. He's won his last four fights by first round KO. What are you on about?

I don't have tickets yet but have been looking, seems like a lot of tickets still available on stubhub, and tons of people looking to sell on Craigslist

Seems pretty steep at $150/ea for crappy balcony seats where you wont even be able to see the fighters and $200-$400+/each for decent loge seats. Plus, I was at the Garden on Tuesday night. Beers are fucking TWELVE FIFTY a pop now
Thinking the $50 ppv and a case of high end suds for the price of two shitty Garden drafts might be the better option.

Overeem did score an early knockdown, then ran away for most of the first round, before getting beaten unconscious.

Ya but didn’t he stun stipe big time and stipe recovered and knocked him out?

Anyways this will be exciting. Both these guys are soldiers. I give the edge to nganou, he is fighting for his people and his country. Stipe fighting for cash.

Double or nothing on the man from Africa

Stipe will handle the predator accordingly & break the record for the most heavy weight title defenses in UFC history...and DD will owe me $40.

Only person beating DC is Jones so my prediction is Vulcan goes to sleep in the 2nd

    $64.99 for the PPV
