^Agreed...I am super excited for Saturday, also excited to see the new season of Tuf. Daniel & Stipe are pretty funny so I bet there were some shenanigans, should be airing soon.

I wish I could get excited to watch the next season of TUF. They have some great fights, and some great personalities, but airing the show on Fox Sports sucks. That's my biggest gripe. It's never on at the same time or day, and if it is, it's pre-empted by extra innings or overtime. When it was on Spike it had a weekly schedule. Sure, you can set your PVR up to record, but because they don't update the description of the show, you never know if it's a rerun or not. Ho can you be invested in a fighter or a fight if you never saw them or don't know when they're fighting?

^did not realize that was an issue, that sucks bad. I have a fightpass subscription & there is a library of every UFC fight & Tuf season, I think it is $10 a month. Agreed about trying to follow an up & coming fighter, not easy at all unless you have various subscriptions to all the different outlets.

cat zingano fight was sad
arlovski fight was good but the tall guy was missing a jab and didn't take advantage of his height/reach
omalley fight was pretty good but when you watch it, wonder if you agree that the fight was fixed...not gonna spoiler it so i'll post reasons why later
ortega/edgar fight was amazing
cyborg fight sucked...respect to cyborg but she needs some equal competition. at this point it's just feeding lambs to a wolf.

Ortega’s elbow threw off Edgar and his last punch on the face literally lifted Edgar’s both feet and knocked him down.

Too bad.
I like Edgar but Ortega seems like a young beast.

Cat Zangano fight was sad, I felt bad for her especially after everything she’s been through...but that is one tough woman, she took everything & kept coming respect.

Fucking Frankie broke my heart but Ortega is a scary dude & I am now officially worried for Holloway.

Was O’Malleys fight the fight that Adalaide Byrd judged? I really wanted O’Malley to lose before the fight but that kid has heart & talent and I was rooting for him in the end.

I agree about Cyborg but I just fucking love watching that woman fight, she is a god damn killer. Seems genuinely nice & humble as well...Megan Anderson called her out after the fight & the Nunes fight is supposed to be this summer so we’ll see if she can get some real competition.

Uh....yeah, if by "ruin" you mean make them very rich and increase their profile. Nate vs McGregor 1 and 2 were the UFC's two highest grossing events ever and everyone knows that McGregor would never have been considered for the Mayweather bout without having his profile raised so high by fighting Diaz! Pretty much every UFC contender looking for a fat check would love to get into the ring for a main event with either of the Diaz Bros. Everybody wants to fight with the Diaz Bros. But the Diaz Bros are holding out for a payday that Dana White might not be wiling to give them.

White has suggested McGregor will fight in Sept of this year. The question is does he take the considerable risk of trying to regain his lightweight belt or does he go straight for the big money, no real consequences catch-weight fight with Diaz first. Depends on what happens saturday. I'm guessing he uses Diaz as a low risk, big payday to warm up for Kabob (who I think is going to whoop ass on the smaller Holloway and take the lightweight belt). I think McGregor and his agent know his value as a major sports star could get totally "Rouseyied" by receiving a severe ground and pound stoppage from Kabob, so we'll get the trilogy fight this fall. Obviously, if Holloway pulls off a massive upset, the picture changes entirely and it's McGregor vs Holloway this fall. That's what White is quietly praying for this weekend, a result that leads to the superfight between the two-belt champions. Let's face it, Kabob is a scary good fighter but Dagestan isn't what you'd call a "major market" and Kabob totally lacks the charisma and language skills to promote himself and the events he fights in. Dana would love to see him lose this fight.
