Gotta pick my battles. Its either hang out with the backcountry bros or hang out with every Texan whose had too many Budweiser’s and feels fast in his new jeans. Least if I get out early enough I can avoid some of the bc crowds.

Damn ya'll are salty if "backcountry bros" at a flat, easily accessed, mild terrain area like Mayflower gulch bothers you. Go deeper if you're so core.

guess I was off and the weather people were right

got the typical summit skinch, don't worry the resorts will call in with big numbers

as far as back country goes, don't you people know that's the new colorado cred requirement that you are a back country bro and know how to get after it, the backcountry is gettting as bad as the resorts these days unless you know where to go

    Tennessee Pass?

Snow is ancient with literally dust on top of ....

Watch that brutal approach. Anyway, bring extra cocoa and booze would be my suggestion.

4-5" on the ground in town and it's absolute pandemonium on the roads. Kinda reminds me of the news coverage I see when it snows in a place like Atlanta.

scrolling some snow-stake cams, looks like last 16 hour totals pretty variable - 6-8" Loveland but just 2-3" WP

If you waited until the 8am report, they changed the totals to 0" new in 24 hours. SICK!

Looks like a nice pattern setting up for N. CO. 'Bout time! Now if we can have it continue after the holiday crowds leave...

A little late, but we got out to Mayflower today, had a blast. Coverage was clean the whole way up, and even found some deep stuff hiding in the trees. Definitely shallow and a bit windblasted, but not too bad for how dry we've had it lately.

Was thinking Mayflower? Or something near Fremont pass?
How's the in-store stock at Melanzana? Slim? Any word on when they'll reopen the online orders?

Decent. Sizes of everything. You might not get your colors, but you'll get your goods. I spent more than I should have. But I've never met a lady who didn't love their shit. I'm just jealous of the fuzzy hoody my SO is getting as part of her gift.

NWS reduced their numbers dramatically in the most recent forecast discussion. Now calling for 1-3 inches east of Gore Range, maybe a couple more for Gore Range and west. Enough to fuck up the roads, but not enough to ski. Sad.
