He's "just" a hypocrite. He was lobbying for Rose and ignoring other PEDs (which he and his teammates probably took). He's not alone being a hypocrite though. It's par for today's world.

How about this? Take the stats of the players who used steroids when steroids weren't banned or when steroids weren't tested for as valid. If baseball didn't ban or test, then baseball should share the infamy for failing to address the issue.

Like anyone with a brain doesn't know that Pete Rose, Barry Bonds, and Roger Clemens were some of the best players of their respective generations (or any generation).

Baseball HOF isn't really baseball. It's a museum and marketing tool.

not that you need too much to manage a baseball team, basically if your players are good and will hustle on every play; you can win; but i'd say his lack of any managerial duty probably costs the yanks between 5 to 10 games next year while he learns.
