OG Mclaren F1 with 148 miles. This may fetch a fair amount of money. Still has the factory plastic wrap on the dash.

Awesome piece of automotive history and amazing preservation. A silver 1995 with not quite 10,000 miles sold for over $15M earlier in the year. It will be interesting to see how the color vs. condition plays out in the sale price.

    That's awesome.

And it's certainly a feat that it's in that shape all these years later.

But the fact is, it's still going to likely have to have every bit of running gear that's rubber or plastic refreshed so in the end it makes me sad that no one drove that amazing car and got to enjoy it.

To this day, air-cooled or water, turbo'd or not, try and tell me when you hear that engine note 5 blocks away you don't know what kind of car is coming. Just fantastic.

Maybe. Climate control goes a long way in preservation.

The '95 and '96 F1 GTR is an absolutely amazing vehicle.

Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

I really must be the only guy who doesn't like porsches. On paper and on the road they're great, we all know... but the design arm of the company has been catatonic for 20+ years now. I find that mildly irritating in a "too safe" kind of way.

imo, Porsche is just like Mercedes and bmw, they got you on their namesake, so they're going to keep feeding you it.

that stated, if I make the bank where I can have a stable and not just the suv and one sportscar that I have; I'd have a 911.

The styling does absolutely nothing for me. It may have for the first decade but now I just feel like they're either flat out lazy or afraid to change it because their fans are all crotchety twats who get angry when people change things.

Mechanically they're gorgeous, but they should be ashamed of themselves for beating that dead styling horse for decades without a shred of mercy.

German cars are over engineered, and that is not meant as a compliment.

Yeah, that is the Touring Package for the 991.2 GT3. I have an Arena Red pts on the way with a manual, but not the touring pkg.

I wonder if the guy I sold my 911R to, has killed himself?

Why? If I made the bank to over pay for that car, why would I give a shit. I still have a rad car that I would never sell.
