If you are venturing into pre owned, there is no substitute for a V10 R8 with a gated manual. That car will hold well.

Is The R8’s V10 less maintenance than the old M5 V10?

I heard the R8s like to slide there ass around a bit. Sounds fun, but would want something more planted for the track. The ACR Viper obliterates most cars under $1 Million at the track

As a street car though, an R8 convertible would be phenomenal. Id definitely get one for the street.

Went to visit my favorite garage this weekend and this bad boy was sitting waiting to get detailed. Only 99 made for the US.

Those are so fucking awesome. Akrapovic titanium exhaust.

I've got a Supersports in stock, which is similar. Uses a 700hp W12 though.

I don't think too many are going to be sedately pouring Grand Marnier from crystal decanters in that back seat of THAT particular Bentley. Does it have a back seat?

I don't think I know that Ferrari. It almost looks like a certain Facel of which I can't find a pic of.

This, btw, is a Facel that I am very enamored of:

Now THAT is pure, timeless class! I would like it just well completely sans that small tailwing.

Yep...those Ford Escort Mark 1s were apparently quite the sleepers! I like the aggressive suspension tuning! Never saw any when I was doing SCCA Solo II, though...lots of 2002s in my H class and GTIs. Would have loved to have had one of these to fight them off with. But I had quite the bit of fun around the turns with my GLH Omni though (unfortunately I couldn't mod it at all because it was my mom's grocery getter).

In the very early 70's My Dad and Uncle built a Mk1 rally car from a bare shell. Things was a beast until they snapped it in half forest stage by hitting a raised intersection at high speed.

Some of my earliest childhood memories are of driving my pedal car around in the barn they built it in while wearing my red race overalls, plastic crash helmet and racing goggles.

    Great sounding cars too...
