Once I get home and my Praxis show up, I will! I've been bad this summer with buying skis. I have sold a pair though, just one, but I did sell them.
I think I'm going to try to swap out my GS skis for a pair of 80ish underfoot carvers, not very TGR but I'm weird and I actually enjoy carving from time to time. And it shuts up my PISA nerd friends who accuse me of being a crap skier. The GS skis are fun in Breck/Vail but not very much fun at home. Well no, they are a blast at home, I just have to put them away at 1030 because there are too many people on the hill.
My other thought is what to do about the 194 MX Kastles. I love them, but they definitely ski me at times. Do I keep them and get a 108ish underfoot ski for days between the Kastles and Freerides/Shiros? Like a Devastator, or Cochise or ??? Or should go back to Bonafides (or something similar) as an every day ski that I can use until the powder skis come out? I love the Kastles, they are just, and I dare say this, too much of a race ski for me to be getting around the side country at home with. Maybe I need to detune the tips and tails more, but that ruins the ski then.
Where is winter so I can stop thinking about skiing and go skiing!
I have been really bad about buying skis this offseason too. Every year I get worse about it too.
I would get something like a Wren 98 or Wren 108 from On3p if I were you. To use as a daily driver.

I've gotten on a few pairs of ON3Ps and they always felt pingy, if that makes sense? Or hallow? I'm not sure how to describe it. They didn't have that planted, comfortable feeling the Kastles, and to a certain extent the Bonafides, have.
I think I'll keep either the GS skis or the Kastles. They really are the same skis
Shucks, thats weird. I guess it just comes down to preference. I can rage on all my On3ps, they are all like hero skis for me, however they definitely lack edge grip and that planted feeling. I like that though, as I can be more dynamic and agile.
HEAD Monsters are phenomenal, with the best edge hold and most planted feeling of any ski I have tried since 2012. Much heavier than a kastle though, when you compare similar waist widths. However idk if 184 will work for you, and the 191s are pretty rare. They are also pretty easy to ski, besides taking them into the air (weight), for some odd reason. Easy like a katana, yet more stable and with the added energy of camber.

Monsters will blow your mind

I'm going to try to get on the 190+ Cochise, Monsters, Core, Corvus, Candide 3.0, Dictator, Devastator and see which I like best. The idea of the 192 Cochise and 192 Zero G 108 sounds nice, same with the Corvus and Corvus Freebird. If I can find the ON3Ps everyone likes I'll try those. Maybe the Icelandic Nomad 105s too?
Try and find some 192 lp105s
Who makes them?
Dynastar. They're also known as the pro rider.
Some pro rider stoke. https://youtu.be/XAxpY1ha-To
They are so fun on groomers, chalk, corn, shallow pow, mank... point and go.
Lange RS 140s, P18s and ProRiders, I feel like I'd turn into that crusty old guy on the tram who says everything else is crap. Isn't there a story in Powder about that guy?
There comes a point in every skiers life where they transition from young buck to old fuck. Wouldn't you want be on the ski that completes the conversion seamlessly rather than be fighting it on your floppy, jib pow skis? The ProRider helps the metamorphosis take place. You no longer give two shits about what other people think about your skis. They let you rage down the mountain instead of trying to jib and butter your way down the hill in the back seat. Quit fighting the inevitable. Remember, if you don't join the dark side this year you'll only be one year older when you do...
