Pics? This thread needs more pics! I'm sitting at work and the webcams are all showing nada (a good sign though). Give me some visual stimulation dammit!

Rumor: a slide damaged a house at Alpine and closed the road?

    You heard it here first!

I actually didn't hear it here first.

If someone could make a jacket of those three things it would no doubt be the most popular and prized item in all of your closets.

I used http://www.tahoeorthopedics.com/tco/tco-home.aspx for my knee.

I had Keith Swanson do mine (the old man) but I think he's just he "head guy" there now and not really doing surgery. His son, Kyle, is a US Ski Team doc and does a great job. They have offices all over. I did mine at the surgery center in Stateline.

The slide on Alpine Meadows road was a controlled slide from what I'm hearing... so presumably all of those houses in the slide path were informed ahead of time and were perfectly safe. It's funny how most of those garage doors right off the road always look nice and new. ;-)

Travis Kieckbusch at Great Basin Orthopedics in Reno fixed a compound heel fracture for me. He's a hell of a carpenter and put the 7 pieces back together well enough that the whole ankle works very well. I supposedly should be debilitated with arthritis, but have almost no issues. He was great in pushing rehab which made a lot of difference. Not sure how that translates to knees though.

Snow looks light & dry from in here. Just blowing around.

Those are natural berms. (And, yes, that's my dog micturating on my neighbor's driveway.)

You trained him well. He's on the left side. Downstream of the plow.

stagecoach never loaded today so had to skin again. skied way better then expected. where i dug was right side up and bonded down to rain crust. i was gone bout 2 hours and there was nearly a foot where i already shoveled so those 6"/hr comments are not far off. they have already called a 3rd consecutive snow day for south tahoe kids tomorrow so theres my excuse to not go to work and ski again

can i get a fuck yeah?!!!

10mg ambien down for a 3am departure. Figuring 5-6 hours to go 210 miles to south lake. Supposed to slow down around 5am so maybe I get in.

^^^ Same at Alpine, dark out, blowing snow, and still bombing (maybe they have something kind of automated pre-loaded?)
One went off way over beyond PromisedLand/Gentian area. Housing I guess, or bc stability?
    Anyway, just been out shoveling.
It may look like light dry blower, but shit, it soaks your jacket through!

Fuck yeah! How was that rain crust layer looking / consolidating?

As for the after dark bombs, it could be the gaz-ex. Sounds just like an explosive more or less.

In other news, apparently Powderhouse slid today. Yes, all of it. Check SAC for details.

Lepistehor & I decided that working seemed like a good move, so we spent the afternoon lifting 9' wide sliding glass doors up to decks facing the Lake. Good times. Name: 1484107683138.jpg
