Luffski
I figured the other 3 people were getting in line too. I was like "why the fuck would I skate all the way down there, when these people are alternating in here?" On another note the only thing edited at all is a 30 second gap of just standing behind those 3 people. At the end I edited out a liftie talking to the guy about why he was yelling and shit because the liftie doesn't go to work to have there personality put on TGR forums. That's it. I found a way to snake in line through an unmarked side entrance that I use on a regular basis. I repeat again that nobody has EVER given me shit for entering from the side I entered today. I have been spoken to before about skiing into the ski school entrance (opposite side) before when there was no one in line. A liftie said "hey that lane is for ski school." I said "ok, no problem, it was just easier than ducking the rope."
Watch the video, note there is no signage on the entrance I am at. Note there is a sign at the entrance across the lift with the back of the ski school sign clearly visible. Why would they put 2 ski school entrances on a double lift? I think it is just a ski-on entrance for people coming down the cat track from Westward Ho. Chill out you judgemental fucks.
Fuck I really don't care if I'm wrong or right. This dude is over the top with his asshole performance. Sure I saw the 75 people in line, but frankly if they are too stupid to take advantage of an open entrance than shame on them.
I still don't know what that entrance is for "officially" but I certainly intend to find out tomorrow when I speak to someone in the office. If people did their job and marked the lift entrance than the whole situation could have been avoided. There are other examples of "easy front of line" gates at the other lifts around Alta (i.e. Sugarloaf and Supreme) depending on what lifties setup the ropes in the morning.
Last time I checked, standing in a line (right place or not) does not warrant someone getting violent with another person. Also last time I checked, skiing was about having fun and not being a super asshole in line to people. Any one of you pussies who say that they would have not taken advantage of a shorter lane is being pretentious.
Reasons for not pushing the guy over and fighting: 1) Lose Pass 2) Never allowed back to Alta 3) Getting Arrested
I love my Bent Chetlers, but not enough to get myself a rap sheet of assault charges. Also I may be small but I'm fuckin' Army strong, so if I go toe to toe with someone you better kill my ass unless you want me haunting you like that fat chick you brought home from the bar that time you drank too much. Better check your closet.
