So cool. What's with the front axle lift?

Lifts the car a bit on the front to clear steep driveways and such.

I'm only asking 519 for a 221 car... (considering the market, I am well below everyone....)

One sold at Miller Motorcars and was listed at 599, there is another one public for 699.

At 519 (maggot price), I feel good.

Haha. I had one of those in 1989. Fun as hell until the adjustable suspension went wacky and jacked up the front but not the rear.

    I'm sorry, I love 911s, but I don't care how sweet the R is...just under $700k for a 911 is plain retarded.

Those look way better. That park looks familiar. I think we're neighbors.

Maybe if they offered a "radiator delete" option...

In that viper green, yes please.

I think they go for a bazillion dollars now in good condition so naturally it's on the Christmas wish list.

I actually agree. The 911R is a good car, but there is so much more out there for 500-600k. I personally would want a Carrera GT for that kind of scratch.

    That 911 is only $1.4M

I'm not usually stirred by the old cars, but walking past this one, it really grabbed me.

I'm obviously not much of a photog, and I'm not sure the post is helping, but the stance and attitude of this car was really something.

Truthfully I don't even know what model it is etc.

~Early 1960s 356 speedster. Successor to the 550 spyder, predecessor to the 911/912. Cool cars, simple amd not gonzo expensive. Sure does look fun to me. I think they were flat fours, many have vw engines for practicality iirc.

With more manual GT3 cars being made soon I'd be suprised if the 911Rs hold value over 300-400k. 997 GT3s are 90% of the car for 20% of the cost...

My neighbor has one of those that has been making the internet rounds lately, mostly because of the 4' light bar across the hood and his retrofit of the pump controlled struts with some stock struts off some other cars that left the back end jacked way the fuck up. I call it the Millennium Falcon. I'll add a shot of it later. He gets the looks out on the freeway, for sure.

I ended up getting this one moved at 486k to another dealer.

I'm not interested in getting hung for 200k.

Already did that this afternoon with MAF-specific cleaner, along with swapping back to stock intake. And yeah - Fabspeed is suppose to be fantastic but I've spent the summer dressing up the intake filters with towels and cloth during washes after getting misfires. The sound is damn good and performance too. Drove it around the block after swapping the stock unit in and it's a let down. No air swirling sound in low rpms and the high rpm wail is muted - and still codes being thrown. One possible cause is the newer filters I put on, but it's been over a month since then. Will let you guys know once it's cleaned up.

    back to hooning:

I know those roads. My wife grew up right there. I think they passed her house.
