I feel your pain man, crazy busy last year and I still had 80 hours to use or lose in the last few weeks of the year. All said and done it was kind of nice to get paid to just lay around and drink beer and ski. I have a feeling I'll be getting "sick" this spring quite a bit to compensate.

That was pretty much my situation that year. It was such a crazy year, that I had plenty of hours left over to burn in December (use 'em or lose 'em). I was too annihilated to do anything but take the time and lick my wounds.

Back to waiting for snow and bitching about the late start ...

    3-6" forecast...we're in the range.
Thought I saw 10" forecasted in the Front Range? There was 2" at the Basin.

Hey, you wouldn't be the first person to get excited about 10" then get home and only have 2". Ask any of digitaldeath's dates.

Only double digit possibility I saw was in SJs, they hit it! All good, a refresher this AM and some consistent storms on the horizon.

    Happy Thanksgiving all

There's an inch or two on my deck this morning. 10,000ft.

Still snowing lightly, but mostly just wind

Easily gusting to 70 mph at my house in Golden earlier this morning. Planters on the deck got picked up and moved 10+ feet. Has since died down.

Still pretty breezy up here, but maybe tapering off. Not too wild. Peak gust couldn't have been more than 70mph.

Happy thanksgiving guys... Hope you all have a great day.

Is Montanaskier the only one allowed to make a deal with the devil? If CU wins the Pac 12, and somehow gets in the CFP, and wins it all, I will happily take no winter.

If that does not happen, however, I demand a 500" year.

Fuck all y'all and your 'Merican Gridball

And/or go whoever will result in a big year for CO.

Conditions were excellent on Jones yesterday, for mid-October.

Copper was running Super Bee in addition to Eagle and Excelarator, no lines and lots of vert fast! However this has turned their 1.5 open runs into a full bumper car track. Dodge and dash!

    This is the correct answer.

No fucking way would I give up a good ski season for the success of a sports team. And I am a big sports fan.

Don't worry all. When Alabama is investigated and given the death penalty because of deep scandal, we will have average years that match '10-'11.

Haha, I really struck a chord. If my deal with the evil came true, Bama would have to lose, so maybe that would override my deal. And if this season was shitty enough that I "had to go" to Europe or Whistler, I'm OK with that.

In other news, it's kind of dumping in CB this morning.

That's an awfully cool town you live in there, GB, I recently visited and loved it. But what in god's name were they thinking putting the ski area where it is instead of about 5 miles further west?
