I would like to see the import bans go bye bye which is a lot stronger possibility. USA reciprocity carry could happen as well. Ban on active duty carry on base needs to go away. Few other items have a chance.
Agree that there is little chance of getting the 86 ban overturned, but the big problem with it isn't even the tax stamp bullshit. It's the cost. Banning MG manufacture limited the supply to existing guns and paper receivers which caused prices to go thru the roof. While it would be cool to see the entire law gone, lifting the manufacture ban would go a LONG way in making 'em more accessible to someone not looking to drop $20-200k.

I'm hopeful that nationwide reciprocity will get passed. It would also be nice to get a SCOTUS ruling declaring the state AWB & magazine limitations unconstitutional.

One can rent a class III weapon, buy the ammo and wail away at a controlled range. Many shops offer this for folks that want to get their FA on. Knob Creek!

    JGB noes.

You still live in WA? Your sawed off shotgun is illegal here and unless you have a tax stamp it's illegal anywhere in the country. That a pretty large fine and possible imprisonment under Federal Law fwiw.

    Thanks.

The Stevens No. 14 Little Scout was produced between 1907 and 1910. The No. 14 Little Scout is small boys rifle with an overall length of 32 1/2″ and weighs 2 1/2 pounds. There are no patent dates or serial number stamped on the rifle.

Knowing it's illegal has given me devilish warm feeling. Helps me get the gun nut thing.

I once killed a squirrel that was running with a shot from the hip as I chased it.

"Ruger mini 14, Shotgun-Remington 870 with Rifle sights"

Anybody telling a newb to buy a mini 14 shouldn't be listened to. There are so many like set up's that are way better in every way for equal or less money. That guy needs to stop watching A Team reruns.

I've never cared for rifle sights on a shot gun but that one is debatable.

I bulked up inventory betting on a Clinton win. If everyone else in the industry did the same thing, there will be ridiculous deals to be had very soon.

Agreed, but I'd hate to see someone with a hefty fine(up to $10,000) possible jail time(up to 10 years) and the loss of their rights to own firearms.

    CHAPTER 15. PENALTIES AND SANCTIONS
    Section 15.1 NFA.
15.1.1 Criminal. The acts prohibited by the NFA and prosecutable as Federal offenses are listed in 26
U.S.C. 5861(a) through (l). As provided by 26 U.S.C. 5871, any person who commits an offense shall,
upon conviction, be sentenced to imprisonment for not more than 10 years or fined. Although the fine
specified in the statute is an amount not exceeding $10,000, an amendment to Federal law provides for a
fine of not more than $250,000 in the case of an individual or $500,000 in the case of an organization.

They upped the fine to $250,000 max per infraction.

Agreed. But Wooley's predicament illustrates the idiocy of the NFA perfectly.

You could pretty much do that a few years back. Depends on what you want.

So clue me in. My understanding is that you can only buy happy switches manufactured before 1986. That means everything out there is getting more and more miles on it. Plus one misses out on 30 years of advancements.

Happy switches? Come on, talk like an adult, these are weapons not toys. There really hasn't been much advancement when it comes to full auto in the last 30 years. It's a very simple mechanism.

Just rattle canned my T3 7 RM stock until I order a new one. Looks pretty decent for my first try-I put down a tan base and then sprayed through some bug netting with the secondary colors. Also added a Montana Tactical rail, Vortex PMRs, steel recoil lug, bottom metal, and bolt shroud. Was hitting 3-4" groups at 300 in some wind which is a pretty good improvement from where I was last year.

Just added a Vortex HS-T 6-24x to my 6.5 Creedmoor. It originally had SWFA 10x on it. Was going to go PST but didn't need FFP as it's just for target shooting and I'll always have a range finder on the bench.

Also tried my hand at some clays with my new SBEII. I'm not good with a shotgun and my cheek is a little tender but man it's fun. My buddy is going to take me out to his trap league in the next couple weeks.
