Given that it still looks warm until mid-month, will they even have time to get it ready in time? That's a shitload of snow to blow even when temps cooperate.

All of you butthurt rookies stare at NWS maps, Open Snow and other forecasts hoping and praying for a pattern change and some snow. What you forget to realize is that Colorado snowfall is perfectly correlated to Alabama's success on the football field. Nothing more, nothing less. Its all montanaskier's fault.

I can't tell which joke is more overdone here, the "Alabama dominance = no snow in Colorado" line or the "it will get warm, then it will snow" one

Anyone ever ski/ride the Dunes? Not sandboarding. I've got a friend in Mosca and told him to ring the alarm if it starts dumping over there.

Colorado Snowpack vs. Normal
Championship 2009/WY 2010 (note the water year is the year that the snow season ends so Football season 2009 = WY 2010)

For those who aren't in the know, MontanaSkier made a pact with the devil- he'd trade a winter of snow in CO for Bama to win the NCAA football title. He thought it was for one year.

Turns out the devil tricked him. It was for every year going forward. So long as Bama is top ranked, it doesn't snow in CO.

the plus about having a nice long warm dry fall is all the front rangers have already given up on ski season so the shit show factor will be pretty low this season
