BURLINGTON, Wash. -- A search is underway for an armed man suspected of killing at least four people in a shooting at Cascade Mall in Skagit County, the Washington State Patrol says.
The suspected shooter was last seen walking towards Interstate 5, away from the mall, Sgt. Francis with State Patrol tells KOMO News.
A photo of the shooter has been released. The suspected shooter is described by authorities as a Hispanic man wearing grey.
Reports stating there was an armed suspect at Cascade Mall came in shortly before 7 p.m.
According to witnesses, a shooter walked into Macy's and opened fire.
Police have swarmed the area, and ask that the public stays away while they search for the shooting suspect.
Cascade Mall has been secured, and all survivors were taken to nearby His Place Community Church and have being questioned by police.
