Semi useless w/o pics (not allowed, thus respected)... However I was very fortunate last week to check a huge one off of my automotive bucket list... A tour of Leno's garage, from the man himself. Was able to call in a favor from some low friends in high places and was out in LA for a mtg that was close to the collection.
Needless to say, it is every bit as good as shown on TV, and much much more.
We were there in a professional work capacity, and it was one of the hardest experiences in my work life trying to maintain my composure and not giggle like a school girl half the time.
Jay couldn't be more down to earth, such a cool car guy, and of course he was wearing his signature all blue jeans outfit.
Highlight, him giving me a detailed look around his McLaren F1 and firing it up, droooool...

Very interesting and diverse stuff in there, many cars there are not because it is the popular model to have, but because he likes it, or it was significant in terms of some technology.
It would take a few days there to fully ingest it all.
When seconds count...ski patrol, SAR or the cops are only minutes away...

If they call it Tourist Season, why cant we shoot them?

Not to mention it would give you a hell of a stomach ache.

Very very cool though. About how many cars does he have? And is it more like a museum or a big workshop?

I'd say 50-75 cars? At least as many bikes, more bikes than cars. He's got a few buildings tied together, most of the space is garage, another building that is the work shop/extra storage.
The garage part is like any other super enthusiast's garage, the car with a lot of memorabilia, pictures, posters all next to it. But Jay has all that for each car not just one, so tons of artwork throughout the collection. Just a neat place, looks the same as in all the photos.

Didn't get a pic, but there was a dude with a Ferrari FF parked in the High Noon lot at AB today. Pretty ballsy... I don't know if I could be convinced to do that.

I know it's not the coolest Ferrari, but it is a beautiful piece of work.

That f40 vid is probably the dumbest thing I've seen today, as I still haven't bumped into Benjamin.

He released a new video on his Facebook page. Starts out talking about the old steam engines and moves on to cars he is working on then goes out for a drive in his Tesla electric car...

He also has a bunch of Youtube videos out there if you are not up to liking his Facebook page.

Walking home last night and an old beat up camaro rolled by. They are pretty good looking cars I think. Not the ones with stupid bulky body kits, but I could definitely dig a mid 2nd gen.

The 4S looks like it would be a great daily driver.

Leno has the largest collection of Duesenbergs in the world. And yeah, I've heard when it comes to cars, he is entirely down to earth. I am fairly certain he does an awful lot of his own wrenching.... full Snap On everything, I bet!!!

The most beautiful 996 in the most proper color (arctic silver) for a 911 IMHO.

Loved the Top Gear on with Hammond and Jezza in the old red Lancia.
