Oh cool! We never met in person at the race so I didn't know what he looked like. Someone yelled, "Go Mike!!!!" when I was next to the transfer on Stage 2 though. That you Anospa?

The steeze now seems to be insane face crushing terrain with open face helmet, no gloves, no pads. Shit is crazy IMO.
Lots of dudes in pro/open weren't wearing goggles or glasses either. Still, they all ripped. One of the best riders I have ever seen was wearing one of those puffy day glo yellow windbreaker things that 70 year old guys wear when they ride their hybrid bikes. Straight crushing it though
People should learn endurance; they should learn to endure the discomforts of heat and cold, hunger and thirst; they should learn to be patient when receiving abuse and scorn; for it is the practice of endurance that quenches the fire of worldly passions which is burning up their bodies.

Exactly. You can even hear me throw out a "Terrible!" on the helmet cam footage from Sunday's race when I didn't hit that rock drop too cleanly. I am getting more hardware installed in my thumb tomorrow.
^^ How did the rain treat the TRT around Watson? It was definitely a bit slippery out there 10-12 days ago. I imagine at the very least it was less dusty.
That photo was from last week right after the rain... "bluebird pow day" for biking. It was the best conditions I've ridden in a long time. It's gotten back to being pretty dusty, but not as bad as it was before those couple of rain days. I did a couple laps on Tyrolean this Wednesday and the sand was pretty nice... that area must have gotten a bit of rain early this week... looked wet in spots. Riding is good!
My riding was so rad on Sunday that they put me in an 8 week thumbs up[emoji6]![]()

Besides the comet that killed the dinosaurs nothing has destroyed a species faster than entitled white people.-ajp
God damn... the north bay (California) is so fucking dry right now. I have more wipe-outs in the last month or so than the previous year and a half combined. It's hard to scale back on the speed that much but it's getting difficult to gauge traction.
Anyone else?
I've been loving all the fall photos from CO. Here's one from western WA:

At least the mountains have gotten some moisture with what looks like more on the way. Maybe try another tire combo? Been having good luck with WTB breakouts with the dry conditions, a 2.5 up front on a wide derby rim has me feeling very confident right now.
Or just ride granite

Haha, no, it wasn't me yelling out to you. I didn't see any Knolly's all weekend! What I did see was some poison ivy all over my legs after the next few days, and two other people on my team also got it. Did you escape unscathed?
Just got back from Moab, holy hell what a trip! Hopefully better pictures to come later.
