I didn't believe in reincarnation when I was your age either.
First time for stone Ruinatation. Maybe it's because I'm Oceanside next to a campfire but this chit deserves the 97 score it gets on beer advocate Going back to the store tomorrow and buying a few to bring home.
Lone Tree Brewing IIPA. My new shit.

^^^^That's what I hear!
I can drink I just thought I'd go thru the dryness with her. I'd like to think it makes it easier on her but who knows.
I took my Randall and bunch of my home grown hops to Blackwater Brewery last evening. It was very much phun.

Nice Scotty, how do you tell when the best time to pick is?
I've got a good amount of Cascades growing right now and might do something similar with a fresh hop beer.
Anyone grow barley? It would be cool to gather one of you guys a batch worth of ingredients entirely grown by mags
Edit- I assume malting could be difficult?
Once I see my cones starting to turn brown I pick them. Not all will be brown but the oldest ones.
The hops we used were last years that had been vacpakd ad in the freezer since. They were fresh and wonderful.

I don't really care about these polls, but it does open my eyes to some beers I haven't tried. The Grimm that was rated #1 I have not tasted, but their Cloudbusting IPA I had a couple months ago was really good.

Brandine: Now Cletus, if I catch you with pig lipstick on your collar one more time you ain't gonna be allowed to sleep in the barn no more!
Cletus: Duly noted.
Comrade Brewing has their IIPA (Hop Chops) back on tap. Really, really good. I haven't found a better double yet. Only gripe is the price - $32 for a growler. Paying $8/pint to drink their beer at home is ridiculous (no outdoor seating so I refuse to drink at the brewery).
Have had Comrade's Superpower IPA once. Thought it was great. Wish I could get my hands on that DIPA but sounds unlikely.
The wife and I have both been hooked on Bootstrap Brewing (Niwot) Insane Rush IPA this summer. Good stuff.
Killed some grapefruit Sculpin this weekend. Wish it wasn't so pricey.
