520s at the rear wheels, 2700lb curb weight = <5lbs per hp. With 11" wide slicks in back. The guy said he's working on keeping it below 160 on the track to prevent messing up his speedometer, but it's hard because it only needs half the straightaway in Toeele to reach top speed.

The exterior is mostly stock it seems, just big wheels and a modest front fascia.

    Wow...

Speaking of There is no Substitute , Porsche announced yesterday that they have completed their 918th 918, and that the model is done.

Great, now how am I going to find one in my price range?

    If you think <5lbs/hp is impressive, then you should be blown away by;

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Koenig...enigsegg_One:1

"The name One:1 comes from the power (1360 PS) to weight (1360 kg) ratio giving the car 1 PS per 1 kg weight. The 1360 PS power output is the equivalent of one megawatt, which Koenigsegg is claiming makes the One:1 the ‘world’s first megacar’."

There is a stock looking S6 wagon for sale in my buddy's neighborhood here in Seattle if anyone is interested. As we were discussing somewhere, very hard to find.

Hopefully it can beat a Bugatti in a straight line so there is no longer anything inherently special about that POS.

Well apparently we need to explain Fiat-Chrysler to you.

To be honest though, it's not my joke. Clarkson's I think. Everything from Italy that's not made in Maranello is apparently just a Fiat Panda or 500.

    Car Porn.......beauty meets speed (SFW)

Daily triples and 7500rpms reliably with a smooth and steady pull above 4500. It certainly has its limits and is a yeoman's car, but damn is it fun! Love the drivetrain, with stock power the chassis is more than adequate.

Part 1 of 2 that needs replacing. Planning to start doing N/A mods to push towards 300whp+ (from estimated 260 now) while keeping it a comfy daily. If it's preferred I can start a new thread to not dilute this one.

Seen several X3s around this week and really like the styling. Good looking ride for the class, I'd expect it handles relatively well too with a low center of mass and good footprint.

That Alfa will be garbage. Most likely sharing the Ghibli platform. They are doing a good job of ruining Maserati.

What's so special about a two ton, $1.5M turd that has two V8s strapped to it with 4 turbos that still only makes 1000hp. Moreover where the own producers of said turd recognize this to the point that will not give up the rights to Top Gear to have them run it around their track. Not to mention "special editions" warrant just a different color of paint. Yuck

The Super Sport ran a 1:16.8 on the Top Gear track. The 7th fastest car around that track.

I am not a huge fan, but the car can move out.

Ferrari won't let Top Gear run the LaFerrari.

Not sure, but I think you need to get a playmate for the Saab so I'll find out.
