I've seen those boys on the Capital Beltway before. Riding 4 deep going about 75mph (20 over) in the left lane, standing up. Just flouting the law. Don't care!

Did I hear right? The Baltimore O's upcoming home game will be played but the stands will be empty? No ticket holders?.... This would be interesting.

Yes you heard correct. Thinking those with season tickets probably wouldn't want to go near the stadium especially with kids. I know I wouldn't. I would hope they would refund the ticket prices as not all families can afford season tickets let alone one game a year. My news stationed just reported that NJ is sending a caravan of State Troopers over 100 I believe down to Baltimore to help. I think Baltimore is going to get more interesting

As long as they don't send Prince George's finest, it should help.

The Police Officer's Bill of Rights // Get Out of Jail Free Amendment

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/t...ill-of-rights/

The rights created by these bills differ from state to state, but here’s how a typical police misconduct investigation works in states that have a law enforcement bill of rights in place:

A complaint is filed against an officer by a member of the public or a fellow officer. Police department leadership reviews the complaint and decides whether to investigate. If the department decides to pursue the complaint, it must inform the officer and his union. That’s where the special treatment begins, but it doesn’t end there.

Unlike a member of the public, the officer gets a “cooling off” period before he has to respond to any questions. Unlike a member of the public, the officer under investigation is privy to the names of his complainants and their testimony against him before he is ever interrogated. Unlike a member of the public, the officer under investigation is to be interrogated “at a reasonable hour,” with a union member present. Unlike a member of the public, the officer can only be questioned by one person during his interrogation. Unlike a member of the public, the officer can be interrogated only “for reasonable periods,” which “shall be timed to allow for such personal necessities and rest periods as are reasonably necessary.” Unlike a member of the public, the officer under investigation cannot be “threatened with disciplinary action” at any point during his interrogation. If he is threatened with punishment, whatever he says following the threat cannot be used against him.

Army Regulation 670-1, “Wear and Appearance of Army Uniforms and Insignia,” updated most recently September 5, 2003, addresses explicitly the proper and lawful placement of the U.S. flag patch on the Army uniform.

The regulation states that when authorized for application to the proper uniform the American flag patch is to be worn, right or left shoulder, so that “the star field faces forward, or to the flag’s own right. When worn in this manner, the flag is facing to the observer’s right, and gives the effect of the flag flying in the breeze as the wearer moves forward. The appropriate replica for the right shoulder sleeve is identified as the ‘reverse side flag’.”

Well, that somewhat explains why you're such a nasty prick. Enjoy black fly season. Lay off the cheap vodka.

    Still alive!

I was (sort of) proud of Baltimore's reaction to things on Tuesday, i.e. cleaning up the streets and peacefully gathering. My ex took my boys (who were out of school) to ground zero at the CVS yesterday to put up their little sign which read, "I love Baltimore".

The streets were super quiet last night due to the curfew. Eerily quiet.

My boys (age 10 and 9) had a lot of questions about what the hell was going on. I tried my best to explain (had to start with the slavery bit, civil rights, etc). We then watched PBS's documentary on the protests at Kent State in 1970, which was on at 8 pm last night. They were like, "what the fuck?!". By the way, Pat Buchanan is an insufferable prick. If you watch the documentary, you'll realize why.

That's just that fat, insufferable prick Christie finding a way to get in on the action during his remarkably inept presidential campaign. Like Maryland needs more help. They have all of Baltimore county (which is huge) and the fucking national guard present. The commanders probably look at the troopers and say, Jersey, wtf are you doing here? Go back home and beat up on the Camden high schoolers.
