G-Town was in full SNOWPACALYPSE mode an hour ago, despite vaguely blue skies... should be an entertaining weekend on The Corridor.

Are there any snotel sites with 24hr snow accumulation? All the summit sites on caic are only depth and swe. Am I missing something? Nwac is pretty slick with telemetry, any links buried in this massive thread?

If you can't figure out how to use the hourly snow depth readings to calculate 24hr snow, you don't deserve to know.

Snotel exists for resource managers to predict runoff rates and water supply, not for skiers that are too lazy to do basic math.

I sent him a strongly worded PM, it's gonna be okay, he is backing off.

Got it, CAIC must be trying to double their web hits by linking all of that data for resource managers on their site. Surprised the avalanche center doesn't have other uses for it

You could just look at the 24 hr snow totals on the front page of the CAIC web site under "Snowfall"

Breck was trenchtown in the alpine today. Wait times were massive, and the bootpack traffic was like I-70, but it was damn deep.

Noaa has some big numbers for the SW starting after 11pm tonight. I would be calling in with the diarrheas, cough, cough on Mon and Tues. It should be sick.
