Shitshow at revy this morning. Got there around 9:30, people were coming down from the gondi and heading to the bar. Huge lift line at the stoke, wet snow at the top, I hiked a bit with my buddy and got some fresh tracks... in 15cm of sloppy heavy wet snow. Called it a day after that.

He wasn't the only one who came down early. I was first into Jalapeno and it was one of the worst runs I've ever had there - really heavy and sticky. Was really busy too - would have been a waste of time standing in the line in the rain at the bottom of the Stoke.

Such a shame after the great conditions yesterday.

On a bit of a road trip, coming home to the west koots tomorrow (not sure why, but it's the way she goes). Driving through blue river yesterday made me want to stay and buy a sled. Snow banks in town are what winter should look like and it was full on dumping. Sadly though by mid day today the freezing level was way too high (not quite treeline, but not too far off) in Clearwater. Hot wind, but no rain - probably rain in mountains proper. I think jasper is the place to be this week.

Shit I'm strange. Had an awesome 10 stokes. Definitely heavy pow last run meet the neighbors to bakers field at 12:30. Pow was sticky below that. Everyone took off it seems . Fresh from vertigo right thru 3 bears. That was 6 runs of surf city. Kept saying"shit that was a lot of fresh , maybe one more"

Drank a beer outside wearing shorts and a t-shirt in Kamloops today. Not even dry enough to bike. This sucks.

WW pretty all right this morning. 30c in the last 24 (at the top, the bottom had just a spackling of new) which consisted of heavy snow topped by a crust then about 5c on top on that. Pretty good on a snowboard. After the first 1.5hrs the snow started to get heavier but it was still snowing. It was rain-snowing at the bottom of Glory.

There were people wearing garbage bags. I felt like I was on the coast.

10cm of new snow above 1500m at Red this morning, and snowing hard all day. A wet ride up, but fun, easy, heavy powder skiing on the Paradise chair.

Yea, Was hoping things would be a lot drier, but yea, yesterday was still fun, thanks to gore tex! Had a few good runs into the bowl... the top bit on the stoke was great too. Seemed like there were only a few people on the whole hill in the afternoon... Have to come back when the snow dries out.

It was OK today. I didn't get up there until about 11:30, but still had a couple of good laps in Three Bears, where the snow was deep and heavy. On one of those we skied down to Burgundy's, to the Ripper, and it really didn't get bad until Burgundy's. I also skied a South Bowl lap, but the going was tough in the trees because of how heavy and how chopped up the snow was. It was a day where it was probably more fun on a snowboard.

It was snowing lightly at the top and didn't turn to rain until the Snow Rodeo/Wooly Bully junction. Below that it was spring skiing. They didn't open the Lemming Line or Sub-Peak, so I'll probably head up tomorrow for a Greely lap, if it opens.

Greely Bowl into Beauty Glades sure was fun today. The gong show of people trying to get there added to the amusement.

I had a lot of fun today at revy. Had good pow turns in greely, north and south. The side hits on the cat tracks and corn snow bottom 3/4 of the mtn were a blast in the sun. Depression over.

Lemming line is right. Very entertaining.

2nd best part of the day was the 2 guys cooking burgers at the top of the gondi telling everyone who had just paid for one that it would be 20 minutes for a burger. Look of disappointment on peoples faces was priceless. Some dude in rental gear was pissed....

WW has been fun the last day days- the first 1-2 hours have been good, then you can feel it warm up run to run and the snow becomes mashed taters and the precip becomes sleet*. Still not too bad on a board though. And really, super nice to get out! Was expecting more snow last night.

Half price at WW today for BC residents!

*I just learned that in the US sleet is ice pellets, while in Commonwealth countries, it's rain-snow mixed. I'm honouring our British heritage using that word. Why would the US not just call ice pellets ice pellets?
