Wondering how today compared to last Tuesday? Was bummed to miss it. Hoping for thursday if the snow machine turns back on.

Snow was lighter compared to last Monday/Tuesday. Hero snow. So, yes...you really fucked up.

skied way deeper than the report, for sure.
skied with DW, son of pinhead, and Rusty!
    good guy, great skier.
ran out of space on my cam early, missed a lot of the goods, including the impressive Broomstick trees, thanks RG.
it was deep and steep in there!

    Well played

Ugh. The only video I have is of me getting absolutely worked by a tree on Saturday. Crutches for a week and some sweet painkillers.

Jacked my back and had to pull the chute early but wow what a day! Everything was just sooooo sendy and fluffy. Snowing hard too. Magic is skiing on a whole other level right now I really must say. Goddam. I say goddaaaam goddam.

Yo. You're supposed to ski in between the trees. Way more fun. Feel better - glad it's not serious.

Rusty & Buttah burying the hatchet? Cats & Dogs, I say.

Sounds like a great day was had with a solid crew, How the hell did you old farts keep up with pinhead's kid?

Edit: Ah, I see DW was a casualty. Muscle relaxers are your friend. Get to work on it and don't let your back lock up on you, if it hasn't already. I know how bad that sucks.

PJ I have some HT for you. Maybe that'll help the pain killers kick in. Connect tomorrow on delivery.

    DW, hot tub whenever. Lmk.

Nice Video. Same jacket hauling down green line as last week, just on the back of a better skier, and without the crash.

    Good tunes.

Berkshire East tomorrow for high school individuals. Pants. Skis. Google.

For full disclosure some friends snuck into the video, buy my in laws do rock. Sunday was my mother and father in laws first time skiing on wide powder skis, they were in heaven. On Saturday they came over to Timber Ridge and skied knee deep powder on GS racing skis, and still killed it! They may have to join MNIAW's AARP touring team.

No pics yesterday. On limited time & just wanted to ski. Butta & I shook hands like men & lapped it out. Done. At least until the snows sucks again. Here's a couple more from Saturday.

The rare Furry Eldo sighting along with trademark fist pump.

Sounds like a good day to do some touring. You won't even need to shed layers.

Wow Magic was sofa king good yesterday, deep untouched snow everywhere made it worth a horrible drive. Talisman and blackline early were amazing. DoWork I was a chair behind you guys my first ride up, tried to catch up once I realized it was a group of mags but my board was still warm from the car and stuck as soon as it hit the snow. Next time.

Getting some love from Powder Magazine. Apparently, they approve of the new uphill policy.

    http://http://www.powder.com/stories/first-chair-blog/magic-mountain-rewarding-uphill-travel/

I did hear a few people took advantage of the policy last weekend. Personally, I thought we actually had less uphill traffic, but I ran into two guys at Timber Ridge who did two runs at Magic and then one at Timber. I also met a guy who splitboarded up on Sunday and took advantage of the token for another run.

There you have it. The best uphill ski policy in the universe just got better.
