I haven't had either of those problems with mine. Maybe has to do with better/proper maintenance or I'm just lucky. I'm gonna go downstairs and get a closer look this afternoon just in case though. Maybe it also has to do with just how smoove I am on a bike Nah. Probably has more to do with I've been off the bike since September due to injury and laziness and new car that can't transport a bike yet.

Um, what is this show of which you speak? I'm like 3 rides in on my Fatboy Expert - do I need to take out a bigger life insurance policy?

Seriously though, anything I should know?

i know more than a few with fatboy experts that have had either the freehub or the bb, or both fail during rides. one guy had to walk 3 miles back to his car. go to mtbr and do a search for more info. a guy i ride with weekly had both fail on him.

I'm sure you'd rather ride during the day, but if you fancy a night MTB spin I have an extra light you can use.

Holy shit. Haven't been in this thread in ages. Rontele is on the east coast now?!

Anyone been doing any of the enduro races the last few years? Racing enduro in 2015 and will probably be up in VT and such next summer.

I did a handful this past year, plan to make all the triple crown ones and more of the ESC enduros as well. They're a good time!

Nice Anospa. I am just getting into enduro racing, so its all new to me. I am wondering how many of the courses are rough rocky downhill sections with the occasional drop or small jump vs. rough and rocky and take your 160mm bike off full park booters.

The Highland one had a mandatory 8'+ drop if you wanted to be competitive this year.

The ESC finals at Killington had more outright gnar though, relentless tech is a good way to say it. The previous ESC race at Killington in July was definitely less techy, but more fitness focused.

There's usually a section or two that pushes my comfort level on a 6" bike in the ESC races.

People were bitching about the highland one being too gnarly, but its what I would expect from a bike park. Every venue seems to throw something different at you, which really makes it fun.

What bike are you on WG? Are you down in NJ?

riding was wicked bliss this am. 20 degrees bluebird and a perfect mix of endless grip crusty clown town snow and bone dry frozen dirt/rock/root.

    so sick!

Just the way it's supposed to be! Rain on the coast and snow inda hills. Best of both worlds going on right now!

Scored a slightly used Thule Helium 3 bike rack for $40 from da Won! Little lever thingy is broken, but still works. Perfect for the fatty transportation. Stoke!

Good spin at one of the locals. Gave a tour to one of the local shop guys who isn't too familiar with the place. Drank a beer or two.

Good riding this weekend down in jersey. Perfect riding with the dog, only saw two people at stephens over a 3 hour ride.

I wear crocs for the style, not the comfort.

Oakley MTB shorts, free for Christmas

I have to admit to myself that these just don't fit. Size 32 waist. They never really fit, so they are practically new, but the snap on the side pocket fell off. Figured I would see if a fellow NE rider could use them.

Skiing and riding is ohh so nice right now.

Man, my lunch woods got hammered by the last heavy snow. I had to dismount at least ten times to remove trees and wheelied over the rest of the debris...thankfully not blowing a hanger. Clean up is going to be too long

The good news is the gnomes were out again and built me another new bridge! Yahoo!
