Flo is OK. It is a very nice build, but to me it was like second base. Great fun the first time, kinda bored half way through the second time around. Some inconsistency to watch out for....some of the jump lumps are a bit of a reach early, then a few you seriously over jump some blind horizons. Nothing worse then being in the air and watching the landing fly by and the next feature rapid approaching.
That said, it is a nice trail and will let beginner and intermediates feel like expert riders with the speed and banked turns. Someone's gonna get jacked on those shorties though.
Awesome day to lend a hand and do some digging. Have another berm in the works that's coming along nicely. So much has been done over the last couple weeks it seems like I find a new feature to ride every time out.
Pics to come in a couple days.
Building trail roolz!
it's the other 50% of the mtb experience.
Once you know it I do not feel like anything is out of place. the early jumps are pretty easier to clear IMO. but then again I am pedaling in between the jumps and am going faster than just about anyone down that top section. http://www.strava.com/activities/201...nts/4751032358
Matt G just did entire thing in like 2:15 I have yet to have anything other than dust at the bottom and I think a SS is just to spun out after the bridge.
I do agree it is easily the most dangerous trail in cady hill forest.
I have not rode snake down in a week except I did turn around to hit the hip brooke has a picture of. Still have not seen your transfer but might not have been there last time I was up there. I now see riding over there as ride down Florence, ride up road, ride down snake, ride up road. ride up to sweeny house/gershmens.....snake climbs great but I can get to go down faster by going up the road.
Green Mountain Bikes in Rochester, VT is frickin' awesome. That is all.
Helped out doing some touchup/reworking on the new pump track at Russell Mill this weekend, rides 200% better now!!! Friend took a quick video:
The "wall ride," isn't much of a wall ride now but will hold up a whole lot better and flows into the track from both directions really well. Makes for a fun cross over from the upper to the lower.
^^^^ that looks really fun
Yeah, its really come together now with the work this weekend. It was rideable before, but didn't flow well in the lower section. Its cool to stand at the very top of the old track and look down to the new one, its become a pretty big area now!
Cannondale's shop in Cambridge is hosting a pump track event this weekend actually, they've got a few raffles and games planned:

ummmm lol I do not have a geared bike right now..... I can ratchet though slow stuff fine.
Ratcheting might work here and there, but like i said.........
Unless you can just trials hop up the longer uphill techy sections.
Heading to KT this weekend with Radam, Mrs. Radam, and Mrs. PJ09. Anyone around for beers or riding? Planning on multiple conversation paced rides and maybe even some lift served.
It's not tragic to die doing what you love.

Speed won't do much for ya over here. Skills bring the speed, or at least lessen the amount of hiking. I've been riding/ racing ss bikes since you were 10 years old and deemed them plenty viable with a 52-54 inch gear from here to telluride and beyond.
mt A area is one of the only areas that i'd run a 1x setup.
You'd be surprised.....
leaf blower?! Jeebus! Do you guys hand pick pebbles and pine needles off the man made dirt sidewalks over there too?!
Leaves? Ride that shit in!
just got in from a sick, tri-state 87 mile road ride.
saw a fucking honest to god, Bald Eagle, just south of Bratt on rt142.
awesome day to ride a bike!
crab in my shoe mouth
How were the colors along your route? Unreal day for watching the miles go by!
What a fantabulous morning for grinding in freshly fallen leaves on da fatty. Nothin like singletrack that resembles a 1-2 foot wide yellow brick road.
let it lay bitches!!!
game changer!
