Forgot how fun it is to ride a 26er on techy trial type trails! So much more maneuverable especially on a stall. The front end comes up just by thinking about it. It was so fun! ...well except a couple times when the tire buried due to leaves hiding big ass holes! I think I'm going 650B and ditching the 29er.

^^^Nice guy! Rifle season and some virus kept me from getting out this weekend. Now its snowing...

Nah, I see plenty of riding still to be had for the time being. Still haven't scored my first VT double- bikeski, hoping Thanksgiving week delivers the condish.

Rode Norwich yesterday. Saw some guys dragging out an 8 pointer. Mid day here is a safe bet if it stays cold enough to catch it frozen, the machine built stuff turns to shit as soon as the sun gets it above 32 degrees....deferred on the snow covered log ride...

Just north of Boston, parts touch Medford/Stoneham/Melrose/Winchester. Whole mess of political issues make it a boring place to ride most of the time.

Today was the equivalent of the best of pow days on the dirt. 28 degrees with full sun and brisk breezes blowing thru the hill and dale. Every inch of singletrack was like 50 grit sandpaper. Limitless traction. So fast. Rigid fatbike 9psi bliss. The rock gardens and root clusters were hardly even noticeable.

Tomorrow we venture to the south central nh area for more perfect dirt. Skiing won't be close to this good till a good month after the annual january thaw.

    git sum!

29er is down and then the 26er went down, but thankfully I had the fatty. Although I wasn't sure how I'd do in the tech with the fatness...but damn that tank is awesome! The grip on the up is just stoopid good! I think I finally figured out the right air pressure for the dirt...which I have no idea what it actually is...need a low pressure gauge I guess. Missed the Jay pow, but this was good fun!

    Nice!

rode some stuff in Hancock nh on Saturday. Big group with some swanky carbon 130-150mm 27.5 and 29ers in attendance. Two of us on fatties. Guess which 2 bikes were out front and dabbed the least?

This past wkend ride on the fatty was all tech, as you know Won, and the fatty was stellar, but riding today on regular trails/dirt roads it was definitely too bouncy for me. So there it is...I'm gonna have to keep two bikes

The old bridge was rotted to shit and pretty sketchy to cross and today this appeared....sweet!

Strawjack, if thats a 2014 Kona Wo I got some bad news for ya.

FERNDALE, Wash. (BRAIN) — Kona has recalled its 2014 Wo fat bike due to concerns that the fork can crack or break at the junction of the crown and steerer column. In a notice on its website, Kona said there has been one U.S. report of a steerer tube breaking, with no injury reported.

The recall affects 531 bikes sold from September 2013 to July 2014 with a Kona Fat Project Two Disc Fork. As of Monday afternoon, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission had not issued an official recall notice.

Kona has asked consumers to stop using the bikes immediately and contact their Kona dealer for instructions on receiving a replacement fork. Consumers are also urged to contact Kona directly at (800) 566-2872 between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Pacific time Monday-Friday or by email at wo.recall@konaworld.com.

Hardly bad news compared to the spesh fatboy rear hub and bb shitshow. The fork warranty is very easy to process and Kona is sending out forks and paying us to do the swap.

i'm cool mang. It's highly unlikely that his WO fork will fail on him, so he has a reliable bike till his new fork arrives.

    Love me some kona's too
