couple shots of the friday mission, just took a couple quick ones in between sessions. my usual surf snack, the Dude Burger at the place beside Cinnamon wasn't open so I hit a burrito place in Hampton - Las Olas, not bad at all. Was funny to pull up at zero dark thirty and there's Rog haha

Haha, you even caught me paddling out in pic # 1.

the rocks looks fun, even if a bit full tide.

next time I'll take you to loco coco in Kittery. Best mex around.

nice lil swell building right now. Waist high this afternoon and hoping for a bit bigger in the am.

I choked, listened to a friend and went to Jenness on Friday for first light, it was a lake. Stayed for maybe an hour before I drove to Manchvegas to get some of my hiking stuff before spending a weekend in Franky. Seeing real accumulation on my favorite mountains made up for getting wet for no good reason.

Last time I went there i was disappointed, their flour tortilla had an odd taste.

Might just have to make it work tomorrow. (Not drinking tonight so it could actually happen)

twas def a morning to get on it early. i think

6am in the water with waist high surf with occasional chest high sets with light offshores and clean. very quiet with 2 guys a few hundred yards south and one guy to the north. that guy had a half mile of peaks to himself. tide was super full for being 2 hours from high so i started south and finished north of the restaurant. nice to get more time in on the new board. it is proving to be really fun in the small stuff, which is good cuz i got it for the full range. catches waves easy and gets moving with minimal effort. need to set it up quad for these small days tho.

winds are picking up and the buoy is now reading a 5 second period and angled towards europe. hope the surf holds for those starting later.

So many autumn swells I recall started off with semi nor Easters that would drive onshores for two or three days. The swell would arrive jumbled victory at sea. Overnight te winds would turn off shore and groom the OH surf to protection. By 10am the winds would pick up. And up. And by evening things would be knocked down to chest high plus. Down to knee to waste by the next morning and gone by afternoon. Good ole Maine.
