There has been a long lull between sets. Fingers are crossed for Friday.

Tomorrow am is looking up. Buoy has been slowly on the up and winds should come from the land overnight. Friday and Saturday am are a safe bet.

Will be be checking the ogt 2 hours pre low in the am. Swell angle is absolutely perfect for ogt at about 130/131 degrees right now

    fix that fish, T!

please do. i'm free till 10am or so. may do 1st light patrol with pudge.

the mtb riding was MUCH more profitable than floating around waiting for shin slappers this am. killer workout!

Ya but there's no surf. North winds and york go well together. If there's surf. Supposed to snow overnight and there's pretty much ALWAYS surf when it snows, so.......

Thanks for the future offer. Might just have to hit you up on that sometime.

looks like i'll head to the Wall in the AM if anything materializes, hope the wind works out for that local, but the bump is expected to be a little more significant there.

not sure it's enough for boar's head? i surfed it in that bigger swell a few sundays ago and it was much smaller than elsewhere. but for sure clean with the winds from el norte

yeah, ive no idea on the swell coming in. just saw the conversation and n winds. that might have been my fav wave in nh. used to surf is solo, or with one other, when i did, and meanwhile the wall would have hordes

Def not enough for bh. Should be about the same swell for nh and maine. Nh could be about 2-3 inches bigger, but winds will favor maine, and crowds won't be like the wall, which will prolly have over 100 folks sharing a short stretch of it. I'll be south of the rest early if winds are nw. If north prevails i'll be north of bath house.

Still only like 2.5 @ 8. Woohoo! Winter weather advisory in effect for tonight with 2-4 inches of snow expected at the beach. Hmmm surf and snowy fatbike trail ride before work?

Doubt mama would agree to a 2 sport morning with a newborn.

1st light is my goal unless the buoy stays where it is.

Sweet morning. Pulled up to Yb before 1st light and just as I'm turning the car off, therudeness pulls right up behind after an all nighter from Canadia. Was a bit dark to get a good look at the surf, but it looked kinda small so I ran back to the house and grabbed the wife's longboard. Got back and Decided the new 5'8 would be fun, which it was. Very nimble squirty board. Me likey. Really nice sharing waves with the rudeman, love that bowled up right you got! Just the two of us out south of the rest. Surf was waist high with with occasional chest high set here and there. I kept my session reasonably short at an hour and a half and headed back for home at 730 to warm the house up for the family. Fucking love the wood stove on cold snowy mornings after a surf.

I'm thinking nh may've had more size, but tough not to love having a whole stretch of beach all to ourselves. Pudge, mppg, hooked, and whoever else, hope you scored some fun ones!

maybe lil lb waves in the am?
