Streamed this last weekend, awesome message and not too shabby on the stoke factor too.

Spent a few weeks south of the border this summer. Attached is a short film from that trip:

    Cardigan ski trail workday
November 16, 2014 (Sun) Dear All, please join me and Richie to say a heartfelt thank you to mother nature that lets us take care of the beautiful ski trails that adorn the idyllic hillsides of our beloved mt Cardigan! ;-/ And in doing so, also join us on Sunday, Nov 16th at the Cardigan lodge for a nice work day on the ski trails and Kimball glades. Please plan on attending to help maintain the trails! And Get a free dinner!

When: Sunday, Nov 16th, 9am-4pm Where: Cardigan Lodge, Alexandria, NH

Who: All of the able-bodied ladies and gentlemen, hikers, skiers, ski leaders and family and friends who want to help

What: maintain ski trails, cut and move forest blowdowns, clear glades and trails of saplings.

How: bring some basic tools for cutting logs, like saws and hatchets, but we will also have AMC gear at the lodge so we will have plenty of hardware. No skis needed at this time!

Mandatory: good jokes, patience and willingness to help!

At the end of the day we will have an early dinner at the lodge for the volunteers, food will be provided by the AMC NH trail and ski committees. Bring your own drink! Let me know if you can make it so that I have a rough headcount. Hope to see you there!

    I'm Confused.
I still haven't read before Cocks messages-
And with what seems to be a bunch of fake ass stoke- can anyone with any form of credibility tell me what's going on here?

The name of the thread is even "a new hope"

I don't want to deal with some knee to waist high shit. Is this website worth coming back to again?

    Im hoping I've missed something.

Tucks on the Weekend inspired me to base my life around skiing. Which led to bangin chicks, living in Alta plus BCC, Jackson for years.

I'm going to call bullshit and say cat in jan you're first time at tucks was on the weekend and memorable.

weekends and holidays weekends and holidays lol!

so if you were to do it again would it be alta, bcc, or Jackson?

Sure was on a weekend and it sure was memorable. Yeah the bowl has always had a party atmosphere in the Spring and people play to the crowd by doing crazy things. Just have seen more crashes of out of control skiers and riders in to the conga line. The danger level takes away from the experience for me.

Person is asking for tips and my tip was to avoid the weekend if you can. A warm midweek day there will be plenty of people and the party will be going, but it will be a much more enjoyable place.

Spring of 95' I left bethel Maine and drove straight to bc across Canada, all over the Pnw on my way thru bozone thru Jackson and eventually settled for Lcc. I woulda totally gone for bc, interior for sure, but I wasn't a trusty nor part of the par-lement, so Canadia was out. Jackson was a def no go. Dint like the smell or vibe of the place. Lcc was good for pow but the corn/spring skiing sucks donkey balls compared to Sierra, pnw, or high nh. Love my corn. Corn with staying power. The winter spent in bcc was pretty amazing. Quiet over there compared to the hyped shit show that was lcc in 1995. Worse now.

coloRADo. Spent time there in 92' when I was 19. I'd do coloRADo again. Tricky snowpack, but the vibe and size of mountains and beauty is pretty amazing. Sw coloRADo ftw!
