I've just been catching up this evening and saw a lot of "ignored" posts by Cock. He's pretty twisted up about Rog having a kid eh?

Well, I'm going to add another congratulations to Rog!

Meanwhile I keep Cock on ignore. He is the only member of TGR that has ever earned this from me .

    thank you NEK

another 2.2 top o george. a few more expected, but whatever sticks prolly won't stay beyond wednesday as things warm up mid week. sunday river's monday opening could very well likely be a one and done till beyond next weekend. surprised if they even bother with monday cept for marketing purposes.

nice pics vt-free. sets a festive tone with the morning caffeine.

That was rad. Those knife edge ridges give me the willies, even from my armchair.

    Bah -- bad morning!
... if you were hoping to ski on natural snow.
(Even if that hope probably wasn't at all realistic.)

Judging by the various cams and FB pics, looks like that same inch or so all the way from Stratton to Stowe.

Running the web bulb calcs on the hourly wx fx graphs, snowmaking should continue all the way through Monday night.

Thinking about skinning and "skiing" the McSludge remains at Okemo on Tuesday.
(A closed Sunday River on Tuesday would be better conditions, but loooong drive for me.)

Then a closed Killington on Wednesday.
(I doubt they'll be able to reopen after Tuesday's temps.)

    Any other options I'm missing?
(I know, could just ride the chairlifts at K or SR, but that's cheating.)

Yes... last show, last song. It was the first song they ever performed live, too. One of my favs. Very bummed to have missed it.

i am a Kmart pass holder this season!
had way to much fun up there last spring, so i went for a 'blackout' pass.
which means i will be there a lot.
but not tomorrow, shop guys are heading to Pine Hill for some MTB, should be fun.
could not believe it driving into Ludlow this morning, oh-key-moe. making snow.
earliest ever by a long shot.

I need a new pair of AT boots. I am hoping to try on the Vulcan, Maestrale RS, and some others. Can anyone recommend a good shop that has a decent selection of touring boots to try on? Also need some new custom insoles made with them. I travel up north most weekends, so VT, and NH are fair game as I am often in the North Conway area and have a trip to Burlington planned for next month for an interview (also I assume RI/MA might not have what I am looking for). Any good shops/bootfitters who specialize in touring boots that you can recommend?
