Its all good, plenty of lines for everyone to take out there and you don't have to send it every run. Let me know next time youre out there on a weekend and we can take a lap or two.

Is that you hitting the tombstone kicker? I can never get the speed required into that.

Sure thing on the first, nope on the second.

It's the 14 year old kid of one of the ladies we were riding with. On a GT Distortion. Kid landed flat, but came damn close to getting it. First try, too. He'd not been there yet, so I had him take a look at it first. Pretty sure he'll nail it next time!

right on, sounds like a little ripper. I might have to spend some time checking out the line in there this weekend.

Doable for sure, just require waaaaaay more speed hitting it than I'm comfortable with (or technique i don't have) to really nail it. Plus, I'm usually stopping at the intersection just before to either catch up with/let others catch up before deciding on left or right.

my planned little cruise today turned into a much longer cruise. couple of mechanicals, some dodging of participants in the bailey hundo, a long hike and some very nice guys on the trail who got me on my way since i forgot to throw the chain tool in the bag this morning. beautiful day and a great ride despite everything.

A couple C-shots from our weekend in Park City... between the insanely extensive and interconnected trail network, the stupid fun free bike park, and the free buses running at regular intervals to take your bike anywhere you want to go, that place is DIALED for mountain biking like nowhere else I've been.

The GF, her brother, and his dog Mugsy totally crushing a PC dirt highway... there were a lot of seriously smooth, bust, fast sections coming down from PCMR

The GF totally crushing an epic skinny... Lee, is she ready for North Van??

Lots and lots and lots of sections like this... yet despite the uncomplicated terrain, still managed to get a flat tire, snap my shifter mount, snap my derrailleur cable, and break my dropper post bar mount after trying to get it off to mount on the rental bike I had to take out due to the following three... ended up having to just tape all the broken shit to the top tube and single-speed it for an afternoon bike park session. Still fun but I am not jealous of people with true DH bikes who have to walk those things everywhere...

Got some POJ(ong) footage from the summer I've been meaning to put together, I'll have to work on getting some little one-runs up since putting anything "polished" together takes forever.

    Jong out.

PC is pretty damn dialed! Definitely a great bike destination for how quick it is to get to, how central all the riding is, and the fact that you don't need a car rental at all. Was your video from Mountain Creek? Going back home to NH for the 4th and praying I can squeeze in the time to go up to Highland for a day...

Good to pedal with you the other day, Ryan. No shortage of buff trails here. Park City feels like the bike equivalent of skiing at Vail. Endless blue-square options but sometimes at the expense of trail personality.

Lots of chopping to be done around the local trails this spring. The snow melted faster than the trail crews were keeping up with.

Exploratory riding. Looks better than it was.

Park City is lush right now, but getting dusty quick. Hopefully the trails get a good rinse this week.

I think a group of us are road tripping it up to highland the weekend before. Pumped to rip NE Style.

It seems like the crest was the place to be this weekend. The weather was tits! I'm pretty sure my legs are ruined today. 38 pounds and one gear was not a smart choice.

Not trying to harsh on yor SS buzz but you are really missing out on what a fat bike has to offer by limiting yoself.

    Awesome pics BTW.

Keep an eye on that frame near the junction of the seat stays, look 4 any cracks in paint.

Be careful about buying snowboard goggles for skiing. Snowboard goggles come in right eye and left eye (for goofy-footers) dominant models. This can make it hard to see correctly when skiing because you are facing straight down the hill, not sideways.

I find that the low gears to be essential in applying the torque and traction these monsters can generate. It will roll up things I can not do on my converted Stumpy.

You should contact Surly, some folks got their cracked frames warrantied from what I heard. Turns out they specd thinner wall seat tubes and the weld process connecting the seat stays caused a stress riser or similar problem in the weld affected area.
