Now a new "shit that annoys me" tangent.

Making changes to lower 3rd content multiple times. Worst is changing it the third (and final?) time back to the way I had it originally. Actually, making any changes that I have to revert back to the original way I had it.

haha, lower thirds are what we call a name tag and descriptor information that usually comes in at the bottom third of the screen

Or spend a year building a beautiful post and beam barn, only to have the owner fly in on his copter, get out and decide that it was blocking his favorite view.. and then tear it down. (Not my project, but another mag.)

Both were a many years ago, and neither my projects, but I worked closely/knew those who were involved... names withheld to protect the emotionally scarred.

Not seeing the problem there. Be sure to PM me if that dude ever wants to build a computer network. It all bills the same... I'll tear it apart and start over as many times as he wants!

Ridiculously small corporate e-mail boxes. I get emails all the time telling me to empty my inbox because it is almost full. I am a packrat and don't delete anything because you never know when you need to find something someone sent you. But with small inboxes I can only store so much.

I solved this annoyance with a script. Now I can save the email messages, but delete all attachments over 1MB. Mostly these are just decks anyway.

PS - if you have this problem and use this script, do it in batches. I organize my inbox by attachments and no-attachments and go month to month when I run the script. If you try to do your whole inbox it may hang on you depending on how many ridiculous emails with giant attachments you get. Just highlight all the emails for the month, run the script, let it finish and continue down the months until all attachments are gone.

Thankfully I never have to use it (barely have to use reg excel as it isn't powerful enough for the stats work I do), was just trying to help my gf with a project last weekend. At least in win excel you don't have to search for an hour to make a pivot table or dinky chart...
